Serebii Nut and Numbers' Monster hunt goal!

Sere and Numbers monster hunting race.

Hey guys Im Nick (Serebii Nut) and my friend numbers (44445558) and I have a monster hunting goal. We are going to try to get various items only from solid monster drops. This means: no buying them off the grand exchange, and getting the drop as a CS drop doesnt count either, so lootshare or FFA only. The goal of this is to have a fun time monster hunting whilst making money, something not commonly found on runescape. :P

Items with a (B) off to the side means it can be aquired instead of any items with (B) closely above or below the item.

Our item goals consist of:

12 Items from Barrows (B)

3 Full Barrows sets (B)

Seers Ring

Berserker Ring

Archers Ring

Dragon Hatchet

Seercull

Elysian Sigil (B)

Divine Sigil (B)

Arcane Sigil (B)

Spectral Sigil (B)

4 Elixirs (B)

20m in Corp loot excluding Sigils/Elixirs (B)

Bandos Chestplate

Bandos Tassets

Bandos Boots

Dragon Claws

1. Absolutely NO buying the items off of the Grand Exchange.

2. No items may received via Coinshare (ex. a 3 man bandos chestplate split)

3. In order for an item to be accounted for a screenie must be posted with the special message we've chosen.

Alright guys Im Serebii Nut and Im 117+10 combat and this post is my blog part of our race. Not really much to say here, Ill try to update with words and screenshots everyday that something important happens. Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Alright I started off the day by doing 30 barrows chests, no loot, so I decided to show numbers how to do DKs, we tried Tribridding but the spawns were too fast (think jagex messed em up). However we did get a really rare drop:

Then after that we decided to do some big boss together and found a TD mass on the forums so we spent a few hours there getting about 4-5 kills a minute. Then 2 minutes after Numbers logged to update his blog we got this:

So with my newfound LSP I wanted to try Bandos teams so me and Numbers went to do that and my first trip yielded this:

While there we got two rare drops including Rune Baxe, and Rune Kiteshield. We also got 3 leechers to tele, we tried killing them but they wouldn't die. :wall:

Day 2, September 2nd:

Alright I went on vacation with hardly any internet except for leeching 1 bar internet from neighbors whilst sitting in the bathtub, so we were driving back home and stopped at my grandparents who have high speed at like 1am. I hopped on and sold SGS for 59m cash and bought BGS and Bandos, with 10m spare cash. Did 1 barrows chest and got this:

Came home and did some Bandos non ls 3 manning with numbers and slayboy86, got no loot. Then went Dks me solo hybrid Slayboy maging, but it failed horribly no drops. Went to my orientation for school found out that my girlfriend's locker was by a [bleep] so we traded now I have to be by her :wall: Also I'm going into 8th grade and taking calculus which is a 12th grade class so that'll be fun. :evil: Anyways I got another item:

Day 1 of race:

First i went barrows for bout 2 chests, Sere then asks if i would like to try dks for the first time. Here's us pwnsowning rex with slayer dart

Then we decided to go to an epic td mass (4 kills per minute was crazy) no drops for me, though good for lsp.

here's a picture of my gear, normally i have a tort filled with sharks.

day 2:

got grounded yesterday so idk when that will be up, on the bright side im got 1 hour of playing time and made a small amount of cash at barrows. no drops yet though.. :cry:

day 3: barrows is kicking my butt with the drops.. 130 runs dry. hope the drops will turn in my favor.

day 4: 150 runs dry, though i am up to 2k bolt racks and a hell of a lot of chaos and blood runes \

Day 5: O M F G

all i have to say is... epicness.

Day 6: good start to the day

day 7:

to help me get back on my feet, a friend and i went to zammy. got 800k total loot with 2 dds splits.

got a clue during the kc and here's the reward.

I remember doing something similar with two mates of mine, made me quite a bit of cash, and one of the other guys even got a visage whilst participating :P
