I got given access to the NIS Alpha a few days ago, I really enjoy it, but I'm still trying to find an ideal setup that covers all bases from DG, to Slaying, to skilling and just AFKing and chatting.. This is what I currently have going at the moment;

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see I have the chat then map then abilites, inventory/prayer/equipement/skills and then up in the top right FL, FC, CC and notes for DG. If any of you have access to NIS Alpha, can you do me a favour and leave some feedback on it, or place a screenshot of what you have done so I can see what you found to be working for you.

 

If you guys are unsure if you have access to the Alpha, you can type world201.runescape.com into the address bar and check for yourself (and play around too. ^-^). Just remember that only members can access it ( sorry to all the F2Pers out there reading this. D: )

can't you save different presets yet so that you can create combat ones and skilling ones and quickly switch between? or can you only pick the presets like that for now?

Yes, you can save two presets (only saves for that one game session however). What I have done is instead of two presets (one for combat and one for skilling), I thought it would be easiest to make it into one interface so I don't have to chop and change. I took a look at the combat, old school and skilling presets and I quite dislike them, so I made my own and saved it as Preset 1. :o

Hmm, interesting... I mainly have the abilities out (not on the ability bar) because I don't like using the bar and prefer to click the icons. xD But I like your setup, so I'll keep playing about till I find something I like.
