Solo GWD question (First time)

I have 99 magic/defense, 94 prayer (ancient curses available), 96hp, and 93 summoning. I will be suited with full virtus (ragefire boots/static gloves instead of set gloves) and armadyl battlestaff, saradmomin hiss/seers ring.

I have 3 questions:

1. Which of the four GWD bosses will be easiter for me to solo?

2. Which aruas, familiar, spells, and curses (also abilities if your willing to share) should I use for optimal reults? (Also what should invintory contain?)

3. How many kills should I be able to acheive with suggested setup?

This will be my first time doing anything in GWD and I really want to start solo'ing a lot. All you tube videos I find are pre EOC and not very helpful. Trying to get some info from a mage whom does this a lot. Thanks in advance for anyone whom can help! Im hoping this cna be a guide for others, I cant be the only one with this question. Thanks!

Hello there, welcome to TIF :).

I'm not sure if you have heard of it, but recently RuneScape added a boss practice mode. This means you can make a free instance and fight the boss with no real penalty if you die. You won't be compensated for any supplies (food, potions, etc.) if you die of course, but it's a risk-free way to try things out. You simply go to the regular interface to make an instance, and then check the box 'practice mode' near the bottom right corner.

If you're going to mage K'ril is probably a good one to try first. Just watch out for his special attack (apparently it does a lot of damage)! Soul Split is generally going to be your best friend in terms of prayer.

GWD is something you can definitely camp so in terms of a familiar you want the best Beast of Burden you have available to accompany you. For your current level, the best option would probably be a War Tortoise. It is worthy of note that at 96 you'll unlock the Pack Yak which unlocks 12 more spots in its inventory, but I don't think you'll need loads and loads of spots to get good kills. Of course, make sure you bring protection so you don't get mass mobbed on your way in :P.

I'm not too sure on abilities, maybe Vampyrism assuming you have or can buy it. As for number of kills, probably just a few as you start but more as you get more experience with it. In terms of abilities, you can just set up Revolution and tack on the usual basics, with Sonic Wave, Dragonbreath, Wrack, Asyphxiate, Impact, and Omnipower. If you've completed The World Wakes, the abilities unlocked there can also be helpful.

But to summarize you definitely have adequate gear and stats, and you can practice before you do it for real, so just go ahead and give it a try! :)

"Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art?

if you have not already done it fate of the gods gives a handy item that prevents the regular monsters in the dungeon from attacking you. Shard of zaros, really handy. might want to bring something as a swap for it like a sign of life or a scrimshaw after kc

isnt super required, but makes the monsters less annoying.

EDIT: I will admit i didnt notice the virtus gear, yeah that works just as well.

This isnt needed as you are wearing virtus which counts as a zaros item so you will not be harmed by any of the monsters either way but if you decide to switch it out for regular power armour then should definately bring shard of zaros.

Vamp scrimshaws are only 2m and are always a good investment if being used at gwds/bossing situations so id definately purchase one of them. :3

Runescape is a haven..
