A lot of people abandoned hunting statues at the Bandos Throne Room when maces dropped in price, but it can still be quite profitable: a few hours of absent minded killing while reading The Chrysalids left me with this:

I'm currently Slaying for 80 defence, and I sold my dragon full helm to buy a Bandos GS, so I'll use that to Slay for 80 Strength. After that, I'll start dungoneering, once I've read a bit about it.

    Won't be that profitable for long. Jagex popped the gem bubble by nerfing the rogue.

    Rogue no longer buys for min GE, so jewelry and therefore gems cannot be manipulated indefinitely and then be dumped on the rogue.

     

    I was actually not aware of this happening until now.
