Back to Adventuring
Back to Runescape, and back to blogging. Unfortunately I come a little bit late for a review on the Treasure Trails update, but I'll still talk about it later in this blog post.
So here I am after my three weeks long vacation. Runescape seems to have quite some good surprises for me as I return: double experience weekend, new Void Knights quest, new Treasure Trails items (woot, Zaros stuff), and what not? It was a pleasure getting back to the game. Only bad thing was I had computer problems yesterday, so I only began playing today, but that's not much of a problem anyway.
First thing I did was to check my Miscellania ressources. I always leave all my money there whenever I go inactive for a long time, in order to collect a lot of ressources when I'm back. Thanks to the double experience weekend, I'll make quite a lot of profit from it this time, so it was really worth it. And guess what, I even got two Raven eggs at once, along with one of each Saradomin and Zamorak eggs!

Those will make a nice addition to my pet collection in my house. Got seven of them at the moment. Talking about player owned houses, I may be organising a little house party event here on Tip It, you can get to see them if I do organise it. Anyway, after that I just left a Raven egg in the encubator and tried doing Tears of Guthix meanwhile. But unfortunately it wasn't working for me, as Juna would only let me in after I got some experience or a quest point. So I began cooking the Tuna I got from Miscellania and got myself my fourth 80+ skill:

Now about the new Treasure Trails items... I must say they're pretty awesome, I've been waiting a long time for these. And as the three other Gods are getting more and more integrated into the game overtime, it would be unfair to not give them their own armour sets and books as well. Besides, Zaros is totally awesome. :P
The most important items here, in my opinion, are the three new books. Zaros, Armadyl and Bandos prayer books give Magic, Ranged and Bandos bonusses respectively, while still giving better Defence bonusses than a Book of Balance. Although a Zamorak Book still has better offensive stats than the three newer books, their Defence bonusses surely make up for it when it comes down to daily use. I didn't try them out yet, but I'm guessing the Zaros Book may be great for Barrowing, while the Armadyl book may be great at the Thzaar Fight Caves. I didn't buy either yet, as I put almost all my money in Miscellania and still didn't sell the stuff, but I definitely will later on.
Well, thats pretty much all for today. I'll do the new Void Knight quest tomorrow, and I'll be blog posting about it. I'll also be adding some more stuff to the blog; as you can see, I already added some content blocks since last time, but I still got some work to do in order to be happy with it. ;)
May Zaros be with you!
