Void Conqueror
This month surely is a month full of surprises. New Treasure Trails items, a pretty good Void Knight quest, and now a new minigame along with a wide new set of clothes. Since everyone was getting these new clothes, I decided to try them out myself as soon as I finished my Black Dragon task - a task during which I got myself level 87 Ranged, actually. Here's the screenshot below, just twelve more levels to go. :^_^:

So about the clothes, they were a hard choice. Had to find myself a set that could fit both my Quest Cape and my Black D'hide set whenever I needed to use it. Male clothes wouldn't do the job, so I turned my character female just to get myself one of these awesome outfits. Not the first time I change the character's gender, at first it feels like you're playing someone else's character but then you get used to it. Guess I'll have fun with my new outfit for a while, then get bored of it and revert back to the way it was before, I'm too used to my character the way it is generally.

Now about the new minigame, I didn't have much time to try it out but I can tell one thing - it's already much better than Mobilizing Armies. You get quite a lot of points from it, making Void Knight gear much easier to get. It's a distant variant of chess, and also very distant from being as good as the latter, but still an enjoyable minigame. I played two rounds against a more experienced player and lost both, then won a match against another player who was just as new to the minigame as I was. There is much less strategy involved than in chess, and the units are still unbalanced as they are right now - Champions being overpowered for their price, for instance. On a side note, you may also notice that scouts have the same pose as Nomad. :P I wanted to get myself that new shield, but I didn't have the time for more matches so I just dropped it there. I will try again tomorrow, if any of you would like to join me at it I'd gladly challenge you.

This latest update nicely adds up to a good amount of updates we've been getting this month already, but will it be the cherry on top of the cake? I don't think so, as the sequel for While Guthix Sleeps should be coming out soon: it was said it would come out this year. This all sounds very promissing.
May Zaros be with you!
