1.1 Useful Info

All blogs have a style and format that they are written in, this is no different. The Data Bank Log Book will have a set style, and its aimed at making it easy and fast to read. To stop me from rambling lets get down to the details.

Each entry has a quick title and numbers, the numbers are an easy way to keep track of current entrys of the blog.

Abbreviations:

Mob: Monster

Exp: Experience Points

Mats: Materials

Pots: Potions

DNA: Does Not Apply

Inside each blog there will be a very messy table, until you know how to read it all, a quick and easy example follows

Mob Name, Level

Number of times killed with recorded drops.

Exp Gained Per Kill

Gold Worth

Drop Item Name 4.9%, Drop Item Name 8.7%, Drop Item Name 85%

Productivity Ranking ###

Skill Name

Skill Level

Skill Training Method

Number of Items Made/Used

Exp Gained

[Exp Gained Broken Down Into Each Exp Gain]

Success Rating ###

Productivity Ranking ###

Gold Ranking ###

Breaking this down its simple once you know what your looking for:

Mob Name and Level are set by Jagex

Number of times Killed with recorded drop, This is the amount of times I have farmed this mob while recording the drop rates

Exp Gained Per Kill, Listed as Magic, Ranged, Melee, Killed using Mobs Weakness

Gold Worth, this is the avg amount of gold dropped between all recorded kills

Drop Rates, This is broken down by how many I have killed divided by how often an item was dropped, an example is 1000 kills and 45 times Item 1 dropped, so 1000/45=22.22% drop chance

Productivity Rating, This is a little hard to understand at first, after killing 10 mobs, I take the avg of the Exp gained and divide it by the avg time it takes to kill, so 45exp per kill and 10 seconds to kill, this gives that mob a rating of 4.5 The higher the number the better it is to train on.

Skill Name, The name of the Skill being Trained

Skill Level, The level at the time of training

Skill Training Method, What items were used/created to gain exp

Exp Gained, The total amount of exp gained per item created

Exp Broken Down, this breaks down the total exp gain into each part, example, smelt gold bar, cut diamond, craft diamond ring

Success Rating, This number is based off of how often something fails, example If I cooked 189 Lobsters and 32 of them burned, divide 189 by 32 and you get 5.9% so 100-5.9 is 94.1, making the Success Rating of cooking that batch of lobsters 94.1%

Productivity Ranking, For skills its slightly different, amount of exp gained per item created/used divided by avg time to craft/use full inventory, example 87 exp per ring, 40 seconds to make 28, gives making the ring a rating of 2.175. There will be an additional ranking number along with the full inventory ranking number, this number will be the ranking to create/use 1 of the item. so one ring gives 87 exp, takes about 1.5 seconds to craft, this gives a single ring a ranking of 58, This makes it look like a single ring is a very very productive item, but when you look long term you have only a rank of 2.175, much lower then the single ranking number.

Gold Ranking, This rank is based off the current GE market prices of the items that you can buy and sell for the skill, This is simply the profit numbers, if the item your creating is worth more then the mats your using then it will be a positive number, if the mats your using produces an item worth less then the mat then the ranking will be a negative number.
