You can carry a million gold coins and still have less weight than a few rocks. Poison will slowly kill you, but there is currently no poison that will kill you with you still able to run around in circles screaming for antidote.

I continue to like your articles. This was a pretty good one. I think Jagex should learn to work with it's fansites, because a lot of times, we have a lot more control over the player-base than the main sites do. For example, If Tip.it requested that everyone have a 'noob' free day, we could have an effect on the actualy gameplay in RS (Maybe...). It think it will help Jagex regain control of the game they seem to be losing control of.

Never read the Dark is Rising, but i can vouch for all those books. In my opinino though... you should go with the Grandmaster of Science Fiction: Issac Asimov and the Foundation series. (All his other books are good too! :XD: )

As someone stated before, the OT forum may not be a place for an issue like this. But, i will give my opinion. You should not have to take responsibility for this, let his family do it, and do NOT feel as if it was your fault. If you feel that bad about it, then... well, i think your family and friends can help you a lot more than lifeless posts over the internet. I'm sorry for you, and if it helps you in any way, i give you my deepest consolations.

IP banning... yeah, it would work, but it would work too well. For example, you ban a Library Computers IP. Now nobody can get on that computer for RS. See what i mean? One of the things i see happening in the community is the lack of respect for everyone else among the majority of the people. If getting them banned will get them out of your face and out of 'your' training area, then so be it. I would be the first to advocate a perma-ban system if they ever found a way to stop that person from evermaking characters again... lets say... after 3-4 banned chars? But unfortunately, it won't happen for a while. As to answer the original question... there is always another side to stories. You can't expect the person who is telling it from the aggrieved side to tell it if the story blames them will you?

Dang, it, i write these nice long posts and people like you sum them up in a short little paragraph. That's exactly what i believe. That people should be taught to question.

Well, faith is a big thing. It's not only believing in something you can't confirm, It's a single minded devotion to something you can't confirm. Whether or not you are believing in a god, or if your beloved girlfriend will say yes... ( ) Anyway, i think faith is something that should be taught. What i don't believe is that faith in something should be taught. That's what creates all the problems we have today. People teaching faith in a god, or an unacheivable goal. What we have to teach is faith itself, and how to use it. It's a powerful tool when you sue it right, but if it twisted beyond your control, you may lose yourself in it. That's when we get terrorists and murderers. I believe that people should have free will, and be able to put their faith where they want it, without having to be herded in a pen and have their lives micromanaged by a possibly non-existent being. Faith is a virtue only as long as we make it. As soon as our faith turns to ambition, and we lose sight of what got us on the track in the first place, that's when everyhting goes wrong. That happened with the Crusades, the Roman Empire, and every war that has happened since. To higlight my point, the Roman Empire started with a group of people believing and having faith in the fact that they could unite all nations under one banner. But, as time passed and the empire grew larger, it was not 'The Roman Banner', it was 'My Banner'. The Roman Empire lost sight of it's source and collapsed. It also happens when the object of faith is a living being, like Alexander the Great. When he died, his empire crashed. Now these are all big pictures, but if one person can have that effect on an empire of millions, then you see what faith can do if twisted. Another example, Hitler. So, I believe that children should be taught that faith is a virtue, only as long as they allow it to be, and to keep their mind free if their faith changes from belief, to utter devotion. ~Elphinstone

Do i fit into a social niche? NO. Now, i simply cannot understand how you justify this. School sucks... Really? I have to deal with large workloads, and i don't complete some things before deadlines. Most of the time i don't even have the time to get on here and reply to posts like this. Okay... Really, i do not think school sucks. You have the right to state your opinion on things, but you do NOT have the right to judge people on something as simple as clothing choices or whether they eat with their trays on their laps. For sheer damage? Dharok at 1 Health. (I think that's it...) you can hit 100+ with that.

The reason is that Jagex wants them to be fun. They are putting them in so that people can have fun and not get rich by hoarding. Eg, ripping noobs off for their holiday items, then hoarding and becoming rich. That's essentially what happened. If you want to look rich, go kill dust devils or the kalphite queen until you get a dragon chain. Or get barrows. Or just where wht the heck you want too and then show off your really old costumes 4 years from now...
