T :( oday, I've decided to leave Runescape and the forums completely but before I go I've decided to do a little math. If a slightly addicted runescape player plays the game for 2 hours every day , he spends 1/12 of his day on runescape. Okay, that doesn't seem to be very much. But it adds up, If he plays for a year he ends up spending one month of his life on runescape. Thats nothing, but what if he spends 3 hours a day playing runescape, what about 4 or 6? If someone could manage to play runescape every day 6 hours a day for one year, thats 1/4 of their day (most of it actually, when you factor in sleeping) and 3 full months, 90 days, or 194,400 hours of runescape throughout the year, leaving them with little time for much else, Is this really health. Just think about it. :-s

:o I was listening to my teachers lecture in English class when she started talking about Shibboleths. A shibboleth is a word used to distinguish one group of people from another. For example the U.S. soldiers used the word lala palooza to determine the difference between japanese immigrants in hawai and natives. The natives would say "lala palooza" while the natives would say "ra ra parrooza". Any way there are thousands of different shibboleths strewn through time. My internet browser corrected me but when I tried to enter it on the runescape webiste they said it was already taken. Because I hate to add numbers to my name eg Bob 55532 I named my character Chibaleth. :) For those of you who've been following my posts i'm still working on that guide. =P~

The other day i killed a 2h ranger in f2p. He was a member ranged pure and he was wearing green dhide and vambs with a strength ammy. He was using a 2h and after fighting him viciously for a few minutes i was able to kill him. He dropped the 2h, dhide, str ammy, and 34 or so addy arrows. I was wondering about the members stuff he dropped tho, which was one of those spaceman helmets and a rangers quiver, or back pack or something. How much are those worth #-o

:o Don't worry, I get the same thing on my wireless network with my 2004 toshiba laptop. I think it only happens when naught players try to stop the adds from loading by clicking the stop button before they load. See, adds do serve a purpose

I completely agree with you ,but when you do something to annoy someone, IE, Pk them, the only thing people reach for is racial slurs. We should probably petition to jagex to increase the amount of action taken against racist but then again they would probably ban someone for calling another person "black", "yellow" or something like that and ban them for asking what ethnicity a player was!

While playing runescape and other online games, i've expereinced a degree of racism from people i didn't even talk to. Especially back before they changed the filter. This is especially true when i'm pking. Now all I here is Niggley. What the FU

Thanks for the history lesson, it was my opinion that many pures didn't exist in runescape 1. Thanks for the imput

:?: One of my friends told me an exaggerated story about true strength pures. But the truth in that story was that they could have 60 strenght with only 27 combat. and i estimated that they could have 99 strength around level 40, does anyone actually own one of these pures and know its merits. That information would be very helpful. :thumbsup:

Hey everyone, i just wanted to say that in the past i've been an idiot, especially on this forums. However after reading the latest tip it times and taking a break from runescape for a while I've realized that this game is just a game, nothing more. Any way, I hope that you receive my apologies and give me the love and support i deserve as a member of the tip it community. :D
