  1. I beat Elvarq with an addy longsword and aggressive attack, and only ate 3 baked potatoes with butter (they heal 14, which is better than lobsters at 12), and part of a cake. I was about level 52 combat, I think. After I'd done it, I knew I could have done it earlier. Take good food and the best armour you've got. This dragon is only one point higher than the lesser demon you have to kill to get the key.
  2. You won't have any problem. Just get in there and do it! A strength potion is a good idea. You've got lots of food, and you may not need most of it, so you're well-prepared. I killed her with addy equipment, tho my combat was a little higher than yours. If you want to range her, there's a good place to stand, behind a half-broken-down wall. I used melee, and had no trouble. If you're *really* worried, though, take some teleport runes or a duelling ring so you can get out of there in a hurry if you want to. I don't think you'll need them, though. Just remember, Elvarq is only one point higher than the lesser demon you've already killed!
  3. Well, I think there was a glitch in the program. I'll report it to Jagex. I went to see the wizard, and my character said that I'd gotten past the guards and into the enclave, but I couldn't kill the shamans. He told me to make the potion to kill the shamans, and to bring it back to him. I did that, and he did his thing. Then I went back to the enclage, and used nightshade on the enclave guard, and this time I was transported into the enclave. Walked down a hallway, and killed the ogre shamans, mined the last crystal, and got out of there. Only flamed by one dragon, for 5 damage, too! :) Back to the wizard with all the crystals, and quest complete! Thanks for your help, folks. Don't know why there was a problem, but I'll report it to Jagex, as I said. Quill Driver
  4. I've almost finished the Watch Tower quest, but I can't get into the ogre enclave. You're supposed to use nightshade on one of the enclave guards, and then go through the cave entrance. I've done this eight times, and only get attacked by the guards! I've tried talking to the guards, then using the nightshade--no luck. I've tried giving the nightshade with no conversation--same result. I've tried entering the cave, getting challenged, and then using the nightshade with and without talking to the guard. Nothing works. This can't be the hardest part of the quest! ;) Other players are going in while I'm hanging around outside, getting attacked by the guards. Any advice? Quill Driver
  5. You won't have a problem killing the lesser demon. You can take some low level food in case you get injured battling the rats, ghosts, skeletons or zombies--anything that will heal 4hp or so is good. Then, go into the lesser demon at full health, take an attack or strength potion if you want to, and use silverlight to attack the demon. You may have to right-click on the demon and scroll down 2-3 lines to get to "attack"--I did! You shouldn't need more than one or two lobsters (equivalents would be baked potatoes with butter or apple pies--all give 14 health). The demon doesn't hit very hard--up to about a 9, at most, I think. I had no trouble with this, wearing full addy armour and using silverlight. Good luck!
  6. I don't think there's a system of running for air runes, because travel between the temple and the bank is no big deal. It *is* an issue for making natures because the temple is on Karamja and there's no bank there. The air temple is near the south-east Falador gate, and the bank is about three clicks away from there. You can make airs up to level 44 RC if you want to, but I wouldn't do that. Airs are cheap runes, if you buy them, and you can find them all over the place from monster drops, etc. Air staffs are the most valuable elemental staffs because you need air runes so often, so unless you're doing combat where you can't use a staff, or you're using runes on Entrana, you don't need to have air runes in your inventory.
