Got d legs drop,so i am probably going again soon ;o Forgot to use the infinite pray trick when in safespots tho. Made me use most of my restores=c Btw,how did you have 8 restores left or so when i had only around...3 left? The inf pray trick does that? Or is 82 and 99 ranged really way too much difference?

Got 80 def,went again=p Took 7 brews,tried the luring method. I <3 muggi;o instead of 4-5 brews used before,i used 1 whole brew... Didn't get hit,lured all,then i switched wrong,78,healer killed me with an 8 before i could brew=c was kinda nervous.

I hate these vids=p these must haves you simply HAVE to download. If Jad could speak,he would call you a safer=p very good job on him,it took like...3 mins? Shortest Jad fight i saw so far. Gj fitting 19 mins onto 55 MB too... and the luring for the 52-60 waves-Simply loved that. Now the only thing i need for a firecape is a reliable connection...=p not one that dcs every 20 mins=(

Lucky you. They hit 13s too though,so better pray than not. Every brew dose counts.

Well...on my last run i didnt get hit ONCE before healers,then healers got me down to 51 hp,tried to cover behind italy,switched in time when running,when you run the switch is kinda slower than usual,51,cya. The morale of the story-Dont switch prayers running. The healers are melee and usually tear me up...

Me too=D Jad has usually 6 allies with him-4 healers,lag,and your nervousness. You overcome it=orange carpet on your back. Dang,you beat my lowest hit by Jad. It was 5 i think=p Did anyone get hit by a 99+ or a 1? The highest i saw was a 95 on Muggi=p really showed that sara brew can save your rear end.

Nice guide and info,but why use a salve ammy vs them? Use firecape for the str setting too maybe(+4 str),and there is no need for the Ring Of Life i guess. Just use a wealth or something. Other than than,nice guide.

NO!=p Keep 3 range pots,sacrifice the extra super restore for extra brews. I did my first attempt at 79 ranged,52 pray,73 def. You have 75 range,60 pray,75 def. So you restore 2 p points more per dose than i did back then-Shouldn't hurt you sacrificing two sup restores. Muggi correct me if you think otherwise=d

I would prefer a Wii=D Btw,the moment i read the xbox comment,i got an obby shield drop xD Get the 180k charges at blue drags,definitely worth it. Then you get a very good bow for cw and other minigames cheap. And,get 1 more extra brew if that if your first run imo. Make the extra space a brew,not a restore. I was out of brews when i had 6 on my first run....went better with 7.

My first Jad fight was like this....i waited in the southwest corner like when you see jad behind italy...thought it was safespot... then i was like wtf is that yellow dot BEHIND ME...boom 66,managed to get all the way to healers though =X I trained switching prayers with vids,i usually manage to switch all of them right....but when it is the real thing i get all nervous and my computer stops cooperating,it always gets all laggy=( and then i die,lol. Any hints on how can i lag less? I doubt that i could even get to 360s now with this connection=p

Gonna try again when i get members. Tried 4 times,lag death at later waves once,twice got to healers,once killed em off. If i don't lag,my prayer switch is kinda good,maybe even near perfect=p Should i just try again with 82 ranged,or get higher range? As i see that Jad has little defence,and i usually get him to half in lil over a minute or so. Does the speed of getting to Jad depend on skills,or ranged level more?

Well,i have seen Ice Caves guides,but only for melee or higher def....None on how to safely range these giants on a 1 def account though.

Ice Caves ranging guide for Pures Content: 1)Why go there? 2)Equipment and recommendations 3)Getting there 4)Meet your foe 5)Playing it safe 6)Rewards 7)Credits 1)Why go there? Common situation for a f2p pure training ranged. You reach level 50-55,then nothing seems good-Mossies too crowded,same with hills,Lessers too strong for now,rest is too weak. And ice giants are full of pesky ice warriors,meaning you never see pures there,or rangers in general. With this guide you will xD 2)Equipment and recommendations 50 ranged,55 is even better. 2-3k of bronze-steel arrows,use higher if you can. Also bring 10-20 lobsters or higher. Hp shouldn't matter,same with melee stats and defence. Having 25 mage for teleport to Varrock or even better,37 for Falador Teleport. 55 Mage is definitely good as you can alch the goodies there. For equipment,go for the largest range atk bonus as possible. Maxed range bonus here i think: 3)Getting there Remember Thurgo's Peninsula?? Where was that pie loving dwarf and the cave above? These drop Mithril Maces,Black Kiteshields and Mithril Sq Shields. 5)Playing it safe You are clever dude,but i am getting owned,what now??? This happens all the time if the Ice Warriors aren't non agressive. Hard to put them in non agressive state with the lack of safe spots,hence no rangers and LOTS of higher lvl full runers. Whatcha gonna do? Go to this spot: Bit of a bad screenie,but it works. Go one step behind the Blurite Rock,better visible in the next screenie. Now hit the warriors with your bow and arrows. They will almost never get there,and when you shoot them,they moonwalk and get stuck here: You can safely range now till they never atk you. Sometimes they go off the icey corner,just lure them back to the blurite rock and they should moonwalk back to the corner. Don't wander too far off once they get non agressive,or they get agressive again and HEAD HERE: 3 giants reachable,totally safe. Joy. Shoot till your heart's content. You should hit alot with around 55 ranged. 6)Rewards Good range exp,with easily pickable arrows. Also,Nature Runes,and other alchable goodies. I had fun reading all these blogs,so i decided to start my own one:D Hopefully it makes rs more fun for me xD What this blog has:Combat noobing Pks,mostly on pure Slayer,barrows,DKs,Dustdevils,KQ,KBD. Daily updates whenever possible. What this blog doesn't have:Skilling PEST CONTROL LEVELING. Way too easy and cheap. I prefer the real training way=p Donations:Welcome but not needed. Stats:Bananamatic(Main,105 when started this blog,cba atm uploading stats screenies,will do later) 90 atk,86 str,75 def,83 mage,81 range,60 prayer,88 HP,66 slayer. For the rest....Look up xD Plushed One(Pure,Melee,Range/2h later on. 51 combat when starting.) 41 atk,67 str,1 def,60 hp,6 pray,41 mage,55(57 soon though) range. The rest....1s and stuff. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 1) Went right onto pure after school,got range 55-57 on Ankous rather fast,meaning 10s with range from 56. No screenies =( Will try getting some in the more important lvls. Grabbed 40 laws from em. Handy for f2p teleing all over tbh. Oh well,let's try this 10s with 2h in the wild place. Right after i march in,a 49 atks me with a "lol"-was playing a nub ranger,then i hit something like a 9-17 range/2h combo. The 49 dies,but not without saying "Omg". Didn't get a scimmy pk in AGES. But what can mess up,it will. I killed her too fast,no pile. So i resort to the "omg pk" trick,by saying "woot scimmy". 1min. clickage follows. Got everything,even managed to get a screenie: A few more battles later,no deaths no kills. So i go deeper=p. At castle,this 56 atks me,then notices i am not skulled,but fights on. 51 vs 56,with me only at 57 range-i was holding quite well,but he was the better obviously=( I had no food,got redbarred,said "Gf". But i am still stand there for some reason....so i 2h him back,returning the redbarred-ness. Then he 1s me with a r2h and i die=D Gave him scimmy for a good fight in edge. Hmm,lets look onto my main-my friend which has his stole lent lost it at dks-Returned 194k,paid 56k more for a sara stole-it is much nicer than that zammy one i had=p. Got bored,back on pure. Back to castle. A ranger,70 ranged,49 cmb. He hits some sick combos at me,then i am out of food.....Lucky me,15 with 2h and he dropped dead. 57 range>70 range no.1 Screeeeeenie: Managed to loot it all,ran to edge as fast as i could. Back to castle:d After making 2 Spanish taggers tele,was rather funny =p,a 70 ranged at castle atks me. I my 2h. 9-11 combo,she went zomg and teled. 2:0 for teh 57 ranged. Then 44 and 47 tag everyone around,me as well. Managed to ko teh 44 ranged when he was running,not my pile again. No one around=100% loot 4 me.(Screenie:) The 47 ran like a lil girl,then teled. Shame on j00. Tried some edge pking after,no kills no deaths.....Almost ready to quit with rs for today,when i see a guy in that sxc Black (g) armor,obviously a pure,getting tagged around by rangers. He said "Melee only please" (bad choice dude) So i pull out my scimmy,and we go away from everyone to fight. Love the "Mahatma Technique"-Make him talk,ko him during that. Funny conversation:Me:"You are good" *15,eats*. Another 15,eats. "I know" *14 with 2h,killing him. Best kill so far on pure!!!! Full black g no kite,scimmy,and 2h! AND i have got it on a vid!!!! My vid 2 is gonna rock :XD: Screeeeeeeenie: Ended the day with a Mime,getting Glass Wall emote. Very good guide,i showed this to my mate,he got g shield on third kill. I killed a male for fun when i was doing a quest and i got a rune kite. I was like wtf,the good droppers drop this extremely rare. Lots of junk for alching,a life's supply of wool. Also consider crystal bow for these outside of caverns(the yellow spot) The long range really helps. 10/10 imo.

go for it,you can do it for sure :wink: but it takes time,lots and lots of it xD Just be patient and you get it. Nice phat btw ;o

I with 80 range get to 360-360 on one cbow,still with some charges left. So you should have no problems getting the cape imo...

level 1 def ranger pure can't wear hardleather....correct that.

while you are at it,i need a kq partner:p I get owned by jad again lol...... how to become better at prayer switching? Watched the vid....Great,kinda clears up the rumors that Jad can max out a 90. I always mess it up like you did on his first attack:P going to get 85 ranged,then going again.

Third try,-1 restore +1 brew. Did well,but i don't switch in time =( Does standing next to jad give you less time to switch?? I can switch but i can't do it in time cause im all nervous and my hand is shaking :? Lured healers,went behind Italy,killed em,jad was like 3/4 hp,so i think there would be more healers.... is it better for newbies to stand back and watch feet instead of seeing him whole even with hp bar?? i always get hit like 4 times cause my connection is a bit laggy...

i didnt use prayer on the 180ish 90s... i think lol. I'll try next time. I need more practice on the waves probably....also my friend might lend me a fury and ranger boots...trying again after 56 prayer so i can drop 1 super and add 1 brew.. I think Xbow is much better for Jad than cbow,since it has a much higher fire rate. Along with Eagle Eye this thing owns Jad easy:D

First try. Got all the way to 360-180-90-22-22....then all stops....Connection lost...please wait.... 1 minute later no pray,7 hp left,quickly pot with a super and prayer on,and a 90 kills me -.- Guess no guide helps here. EDIT:Got all the way to Jad,and i must say that Eagle Eye is very nice for it:D Also,when i was at Jad,i had only 3 doses of brew even though i did all like you(but you had 4 full brews):D The 90s are giving me trouble too..... they just hit too much at 73 def:D Any other way in handling em?
