  1. 7/13/06 It took me only 2 days to go from level 17 in magic to level 25. Plus I now have level 31 prayer which will help me in Dragon Slayer. I also encountered a nice person. they asked me what my magic level was and then the person up and offered me 100 mind runes. I was very thankful for that. Soon, I will be attempting Dragon Slayer for the 3rd time. 1st time:Came close, ran out of food and nearly killed it 2nd time:Ran out of food, one hit away from killing it 3rd time:Wish me luck. It seems that I forgot to mention that I gave a bank note of 20 cooked chickens to some level 6. I guess kindness has a weird way of repaying you.
  2. Actually if they're using magic attacks then range armor is the best thing to wear. And if you're in range armor why not use ranged attacks rather than melee, eh? Ankous can be ranged (I saw someone doing it in SE corner of that SW room that has Ankous and skeletons) from a safe spot, so it'll work there too. They just cast Weaken to take your strength down by 7% (At least they took my strength down by that, never any more). They actually attack with Melee. Oh and I would Melee them if I were you, I was wearing Full Rune with flat 70's in all of my Melee stats and I used 2 invetories of food, and I still havn't got the left half of the skull from Ankou (Such bad luck, I was at the Catablepon's for well over an hour) Believe me, It usually takes maybe 2-3 hp off me but that is the most and with the Ankous, just keep going at them until you get it. I know it took me several trips down there with alot of food for me to finally get the left half of the skull. Just keep at it and you will get it.
  3. If you want, I have some pies and fish just taking up space inside my bank. I have about 3 meat pies, 1 apple pie, about 50-60 trout and the same amount for the other fish as well. So, soon as I can, I'll donate all my food I have in the bank, besides it will help out somebody new and I can always get more food for myself afterwards.
  4. I do have a second one. This dude was trying to sell a mith scimmy for 50k and trying to claim that it was rare or something. n00b:selling mith scimmy 50k, vry rare Mage:Uhhh dude, they are not even close to being rare n00b:shut up n00b, just because you don't have the money Mage:Not to mention, nobody is going to be stupid enough Mage:To buy it from you when they can get it for 5k n00b:shut up or I'll report you Mage:Report me for what? Telling the truth. n00b logs off. Then Today, I see the same n00b but now he was bugging me to trade in my skull sceptre. I told him no and plus that it was not tradeable.
  5. Thank you guys for the support. 7/11/06 After what seemed like hours that had no end, I kept killing and soon I reached my goal, I finally snagged the left part of the skull. I do have a screenshot of me holding it in Varrock. I was filled with happiness when I killed the purple skeleton (forgot its name) and saw it, lying on the ground was the left half of the skull. I couldn't believe it at first but when I picked it up, it was true. So I rushed out of there and headed to the bank where I withdrew a right half of the skull and the half completed part of the sceptre. Then I fused together the right and left halfs of the skull and then fused it together with my half completed sceptre to complete it. Now I am glad for the support you guys gave me and now here is an image of me holding it.
  6. A couple days ago, I walking back from Draynor Village wearing my ranging armor. Now mind you, I was only wearing it because I planned on killing a few creatures on my way back to varrock. I got really bored and killed off a level 2 goblin from a few squares away, right before the level 3 girl n00b could get it. When I go over there to collet my bones, small gold and 3 iron arrows, it went something like this. Mage:looks like I managed to score some decent for once. Girl:You stupid n00b, that was my kill. Mage:haha, you're calling me a n00b? Girl:Yeah, because you killed it before I could. Mage:That's life deal with it. Girl:Want to be my BF? Here is my most recent one I was doing some training down in the 2nd level of the Security Stronghold. Anyhoo, I just got done killing 2 level 28 flesh crawlers and got 2 parts of the sceptre, right off the bat. I was working my way towards the treasure room and went through a nice group of level 50+ zombies and level 41 flesh crawlers. After I got done, I went inbetween some doors to eat some fish I brought along and then this n00b finds me. n00b:You'll be reported unless you can give me some food. Mage:Yeah Right, go out and fish for your own trout and other fish. n00b:I know you have food now give to me. Mage:How about this, go kill off a level 67 zombie and bring me the bones, then I will give you food. n00b:you stupid n00b! That last line was before he died. I laughed my butt off, seeing how I was the only other one there. Didn't get much, just some runes and a iron sword.
  7. okay quick question, is there anything I have to get besides the left skull in order to form it?
  8. 7/10/06 I managed to advance both attack and hit points. However, I'm starting to doubt if I'm going to ever get the last piece I need for the sceptre. Oh well, I can always keep fishing and killing until I do snag one. However one of the drops from the purple skeleton enemies is a note for mithril ore, which was about 4.
  9. Thats Right, even though I'm not a mage, I can still kick some pretty good butt. However, you can read my many adventures, advancement in many skills and collecting hard to find items. 7/10/06 I finally managed to snag the bottom part of the skull sceptre, now all I need is the left half to complete it. I also recently advanced a prayer level, now only 2 levels to go before I can join the prayer guild. I managed to snag a str amulet for about 2-3k and I'm stilling working on getting some more addy armor. As soon as I can, I'll post some screenshots of some of my adventures.
