  1. Although it really makes sense, there will still be problems. "Unids above X!" will still be a problem, because you're not sure if that person can ID everything below said herb. Sure you can look them up on the highscores, but any legit seller may not feel like waiting. Not to mention the fact that I could always buy UnID'd Marrs from someone with level 1 Herblore and sell them as UnIDs above Rannar. I really do like the idea, but I don't think it would work. I'm also opposed to getting rid of the whole ID thing. It's one of two things you can do with herblore. It's a skill that really needs some work.
  2. It's been a while since I posted here. I still much preferred the Text Tabs, but it looks like there's been a small update since last time... I don't know much about Java programming, but I don't think the strain would be very much more at all. Think about it. Jagex has to remember what image you've chosen for each slot, which means that a variable will have to be stored. In the same sense, each text tab will have to be stored. I think giving everyone twelve text-based tabs would be VERY much like giving everyone an additional twelve friends for their friends list. Too much space on the server? I don't really think so. My main issue comes down to their functionality. Even if you set them yourself, it's tough to remember what some of those images are, and even worse, find them. My problem with the bank currently is that I can be looking right at something and not see it. If the tabs are pictures too, I worry that I will spend twice as long looking for which one I want. It seems there are people who like text, and those who want pictures. Maybe, just maybe, it's possible to do both? Think about it. If there were an option to change it back and forth, then everyone would be pleased, and less server space would be taken, if it is actually an issue.
  3. I don't know, but wouldn't this be very similar to giving everyone an extra 10 friends on their list? I don't think it's that big of a problem. If Jagex can randomly give ~50 extra bank spaces, than 10 TEXT ONLY tabs wouldn't be that bad. I don't know how their database is set up, but either way they're going to have to remember something extra. Whether it's the variable for the picture, or a text string, it will still take up some space. I support the text buttons. More customizable, and a sleaker look. And if it's not too much to ask, is there any chance you could PM me the image of the previous version? I'd like to see how they compare, side-by-side. It may also give you better feedback if you wanted to just re-post that previous image, and allow people to comment on which one they prefer. It seems like a lot of posters haven't seen that last one. Just an idea.
  4. Again, very nice idea. Would be such a huge improvement. However, I much preferred the last version. Customizable text tabs and the more compact, clean design appealed more to me. The picture tabs would cause the same problem for me as the bank does now. I'd look right past the picture I was looking for. I like to read the text. I like the new "bin" option to drop an item at your feet, but I also liked the old "bin" that stored items until you sorted them. I'd just call the new one "Drop." I'm also not too keen on the charity idea. The ability to set your withdraw amounts was also awesome. I didn't see taht feature in this version. Duno. Either way, send this to Jagex if you haven't already. They probably won't do a thing about it, but with the huge following you've got... Here's your mini survey: - Like the pictures, or prefer text. Text. - Icons to small/big. Just fine. - Don't like the layout/love the layout. Great, but I liked the old one much better.
  5. Very nice! I support 100%. If only Jagex would take this into consideration. Too bad it can't be posted on the official forums due to regulations, because you'd have a huge following.
