I am stuck on nature spirit lol. Its my 3rd day as a member and i cant do it. I have the mort myre fungi, and the used spell paper, and a new spell paper thing. On the guide on this site it says"This is your spell" under the faith one. What does this mean? Whenever I try and turn him into a nature spirit he says he needs something more. What??? Thanks

Hey, where can i find granite rocks to mine? I've heard they are good for training mining an i really want 70. Thanks.

If you do read this, please reply with your comments :) My new pure, soon to rule the wilderness and make clans quake in their boots. Ahem... Icecool Fool is the name i chose, random, but i like it. I wanted a pure with 1 defence, high strength, 40 [or maybe more now, after feedback - thanks tomdavies90] attack (I'm not gonna make it a member) and maybe some decent mage and range stats. Day 1 I created it. Simple enough. On tutorial island i got attack and strength to 3. No other levels up. As soon as i landed in Lumbridge I used the free tele to Lumbridge. Sounds silly? I guess it is a bit, but I had a reason. After I did this i went and claimed 30 air and 30 mind runes off the Magic Instructor just outside Lumbridge Castle. This is where the tele comes in - it tells you how long you have to wait until you can use it again, which is pretty much the same as when i can claim more free runes. Another flaw, I hear you cry. If any of you have tried it you will know she won't give you more runes if you have some in your bank or inventory. I just got my runes out the bank, dropped them in a little hut next to instrucor and claimed more. I started to go kill chickens. 7 attack and 12 strength from these guys. Also 1.5k feathers. and 80 iar and minds - i forgot to go get some for a while. A friend of mine made me 3 sets of full iron and a few steel weapons. I decided to to do Vampire Slayer to get my attack up rather than train. I went and trained on giant rats in Varrock sewer for a bit. 15 strength now. I saved all the rat meat and banked it. I cooked it later. Then mum came home grrr... "Go do your homework!" Day 1: 15 strength 7 attack 6 cooking 80 air and minds. Day 2 Straight on after school. Into the house in Lumbridge with all the goblins in. Some level 90 came in offereing free fish. I ran an inventory to the bank about 4 times before he logged out. That salmon would help with Vampire slayer. Friend gave me 30 iron plates. Wow, ok. For free? Nah, 15k. HA! I'm gonna pay him that but never again! I'll get 15k from the feathers. If anyone wants to buy them pm me... With 21 strength and a steel scimmy I went to have a go at the vampire. It was hard, but I got it down to next to no health. It disappeared. Wo i did it! Not so. I don't know what happened but it randomly disappeared before i killed it. Grrr... Trained strength even more before going back. Got Ko'ed pretty bad! I don't understand why... I had the same food, same everything except i could hit 5's not just 4's! Anyway, i picked up 30 airs and minds after that and went and trained strength again. Mum came home again... You know the story. Day 2: 25 Strength 7 attack 13 cooking 115 airs and minds. Day 3 Picked up another 30 runes straight away. The Tip.It calculator said i would get 9 mage with them. I only got 8, because i had my full iron on and just used them on a duck. Without hitting you still get exp but not as much as if you do hit. It just means you dont have to keep running around/getting damaged if you do it the way i did. My friend demanded his payment. Off to Varrock on a busy server to sell them. Whenever i need to sell something there is no buyers! I gave up selling after a measly few minutes. Logged out and wrote this. Afterwards i logged back in, went and got 30 airs and minds and got my 9 mage. Now i need an earth staff to go kill the vampire. Sorted! I only have 600gp though... Went back to selling feathers. Gave up YET AGAIN! I thought I would have a go at the Stronghold of Security to get 10k. There first 2 levels were easy, i banked the cash after each one. With frequent reference to a guide I made it and got 10k. I didn't bother going into the bottom level because you only get boots. I bought an earth staff, but when i claimed the runes she only gave me airs! Another 1/2 hour wasted til i can kill the vampire. Day 3: 26 strength 7 attack 13 cooking 9 mage + earth staff 9k cash w00t! Day 3 - update Yyyyeeeesssss!!!!!!! I managed to blag a bit of computer time in the evening. I claimed the last few mind runes and went off to kill the vampire. It didn't work out as well as I'd liked, because you can't mage over the coffin. Luckily I had food anyway so maged him while stood next to him. I killed the vampire! With earth strike lol. It hits 6, which is pretty good for level 9 mage. Anyway my attack leveled to 21, my combat to 20. I can weild mith now, so im gonna find something a bit harder than goblins to train on :D Or I'll just collect feathers for Tenbroya :thumbsup: I also got my first two random events this evening. First the sandwhich lady who gave me a triangle sandwhich, then a genie. I got 210 attack exp from him which boosted me to 22 attack. Day 3: 27 strength 22 attack 10 mage 2220 feathers Day 4 Pretty busy day so couldn't get much time on the computer. As soon as I logged in I nihilist I spoke to me. Wohooo! Just started smithing the plates. Yes! I got 100 strength exp to get level 28 strength after claiming 30 airs and minds. I then went to Al Kharid to try and buy a mith scimmy from the scimitar store. It continues to amaze me how one world has over 30 and the rest have none in stock! Just seconds after i bought one I had to go out. When I got back in I miraculously got the computer back. I went to train on scorpians in the scorpian pit, Al Kharid, but they hit me too often. I did hit my first 6 though! Before I levelled up to 29 strength I realised I had a message in my inbox on this site. I had an offer to help me with my mage level. I mine ess, he gives me 5 airs or 4 minds per ess. Seemed a good deal to me, so I went to do rune mysteries after claiming another (possibly my last time) 30 airs and minds. I completed that a lot quicker than anticipated! I killed a few cows with earth strike to get 13 mage then went to barbarian to blag the bronze pickaxe on the table. I just got it and went to get my first load of essence when it was time to go to bed. Lol, school nights are the worst! Day 4: 28 strength 22 attack 13 mage errr... 1 rune ess! Day 5 Have 5 days passed already?? It seems like yesterday I started the file. I don;t get online much on Thursdays so i went to mine rune ess for death goat2. Xc3ssiv also gave me some free stuff after reading this blog. Quite a lot of free stuff actually! THANK YOU XC3SSIV! That was about all I had time for - no strength training today :( Day 5: 28 strength 22 attack 13 mage 8 mining A LOT OF STUFF! Day 6 6 days down, one to go until the big 1 week mark. So far I've trained strength, attack, mage, cooking and mining, and have 4 quest points. I'm going to stop writing this blog after a week as not as many people are reading it anymore, but I hope what i have written has mildly entertained everyone or atleast made cooking an inventory of lobsters go a little quicker. Anyway. After logging on I went to train my strength as I didn't get the chance to yesterday. I remember some pirates or something like them - low level but many of them - in the same cave as the ice giants. I walked down there to give thm a try, see how fast you get experience and stuff. I ended up killling level 6 muggers. Thay have 8 hitpoints and drop 5 to 20gp. They only hit 1's rarely and i picked up the cash. Before long i had levelled strength. A hitpoints level followed shortly, and another strength after that. I took the long walk back to Varrock after this to mine some more rune ess. Only about 200 more to mine and i can get enough runes for 1k fire strikes off Death Goat2. That will be tres cool! 1.3k fire strikes will get to me level 36 mage. And if i get that i will level combat... which I don't want. So i think I'm going to have to train combat one or two more levels before I use all my fire strikes. One last thing for today: How do i make videos of my screen? When i have trained enougha nd go pking I want to post a vid of it, but don't know how just yet... Thanks. I lost full iron, mith scimmy (noooo!), fire staff and about 20 or so minds and airs. Could have been worse. When I banked in Lumbridge i found 100 willows on the floor. Random. Back to training. Nice pic Skiller502 lol... Just logged on and saw it. I didn't get to do that training earlier i just sold the logs (3k). After I got back in after cycling into town and terrorising old people (hehe not really - just got some insane air off this jump and there was this old guy crossing the road and i nearly knocked him over. He shouted at me.) Anyway after i got back in I logged on to see that pic of what i lost and i went to mine ess - I still need about 100 til i can claim 1k casts off Death Goat2. He didn't come online, so if you are reading this Death Goat2, come online! I pked for a while after i had enough rune ess - died once but the guy gave my stuff back and we are going to team sometime soon. Also killed 2 3 itemers ehich annoyed me because I didn't get their mith scimmies which i really wanted. Before i logged out i went back to the muggers to train strength. I'm not sure what day it is.. 14 perhaps? Well, Death Goat pmed me asking if i could update it, so i thought i would. Maybe not every day now, but once every few days, just to let everyone know how I'm getting on. Well, what a lot has happened since i last edited this! With 30 strength i went to try my luck pking again. Killing other players got my strength to 32, but with no decent drops or anything. Then a ranger kept soming back for more, and i potted and koed him with 7, 7, 6! Wow, i was so surprised! Anyway, i picked up 1.1k airs, 200 chaos, 32 nats, 500 steel arrows, a fire staff and a str ammy. Looters got the rest - I'm pretty sure i would have got a good few minds and other stuff to go with it. But i'm now surer than ever i want to carry on with this pure and get a few really gnarly stats to pk with! One bad thing has happened - I levelled defence! NOOOOOO! I was so annoyed! That sent my combat level up with one defence level, so i left the wilderness to train. Now, here I am. I got the runes off Death Goat2, which subsequently made me 35 mage. I levelled hp 3 times training it, and combat once as a result of that. I'm not bothered though, hp is useful in the wildereness. My strength level as of today is 40, still 22 attack and 2 (:() defence. Keep it bumped! To be continued... Thanks to: Abhinav46 for the armour. yeah, i know it souns silly, im getting 76 for shakrs and im f2p... When i have 76 fishing, 80 cooking, and some other levels higher than they are now im gonna be a member. My mum will probably change her mind after lol, but oh well. Thanks guys.

Thanks Bombing_7000, it took me ages to write. The rest of you, theres no need to be so harsh! I know this community is probably p2p mostly, but im not, and i think my guide would help some noob who needed help finding his feet. :cry: :cry: :cry:

OK, this is my guide on how to level fishing. It is aimed at low level fishers as it basically takes you step-by-step from level 1 to level 50 fishing and higher. First of all, you will need the right equipment. To start all you need is a net. Later you will need a fishing rod, fly fishing rod, harpoon and lobster pot, but they only cost 5 - 20gp each so don't worry! They can all be bought from Port Sarim fishing shop (check your world map if you're not sure where it is). And another thing - bank all your fish! You can cook them afterwards, and sell them, or eat them or whatever you like to do with fish. So you have a net and maybe the other stuff. The best place to fish when you are a low level is Draynor, by the willow trees, and by the bank. Watch out for the dark wizards if you are a low combat level. But anyway, you've found Draynor and the fishing spot, so just click on it, and you should start fishing shrimps! They may take a while to start but it will soon get quicker. I'm not enitrely sure but i think you should get to level 5 fishing pretty quick, as in a few inventories. When you are level 5 fishing, take some more money down to Port Sarim fishing shop and buy 200 bait, and rod to go with it. You can fish sardines and soon herrings. Just use up all the bait, and you should be level 20 fishing or there abouts. If you aren't there yet, buy a few more bait until you are. When you do reach level 20 fishing, you can fly fish. It doesn't matter what combat level you are now, becuase chickens are easy to kill. Go and kill 100 of them (tally them off to count them if it helps) and pick up the feathers. There is chickens either in lumbridge or on the road to Falador. I think you should have about 700 feathers, or something like that if you kill 100 chickens. Also, if you have low combat and level 1 attack or something, it will get your chosen attack style to 10 or 11 if you started at 1. With the feathers, go and buy a fly fishing rod and instead of fishing in Draynor, you will have to move to either Lumbridge, near the goblin house (which i don't recomend because its ages to a bank), or to Barbarian village. Fish all the trout you can, and when you have used up all your feathers, you should be able to fish lobsters! Remember you should have all your fish in your bank. Now is the time to cook them all. If you cook them either in Al Kharid or Edgeville there is a cooking range very close to the bank which is very handy. You burn less fish on a range and you don't waste inventory space with logs and a tinderbox. When all the fish are cooked you hopefully should have level 40 fishing atleast, although it depends how many you burn. You have a choice now to get to level 50 fishing, you could either go full-on at the lobbies, or fish tuna aswell. If you fish 1000 lobsters, you would end up with about 52 fishing, but in a free world thid could get tedious as its 30gp both ways to karamja. It would be alright at Catherby though. If you just sold your lobsters to the Karamja general store after cooking them, you wouldn't get half as much money but it would be a lot quicker for non-members. If you choose this method and cook all the lobsters you would end up with 54 or 55 cooking, easily being able to cook swordies. The other option is tuna aswell. I would recomend this because lobsters take ages to fish when you are still only level 40. If you use a harpoon and fish 350 tuna, you will be level 45 fishing roughly, and lobsters would be a little faster. When you have done this, 500 lobsters would get you to 50 fishing, and cooking them all would get you to 53 or 54 cooking. When you have 50 fishing, there is a number of ways to go to get it up. My fishing is 71 and I'm trying to get 76 for sharks. I fly-fished 15k feathers and now I'm fishing lobsters. I think i have roughly 6k of them to go. You could do a number of other things if you wanted higher fishing, but I'm sure you could think of better ways than me I hope this guide helped you.
