Doing it with blood burst just outside the south gates is good too - If you get enough monsters around you, you can even stay alive afterwards :P. I think the most I've got is around 10 at once.

rsbandb.com has some that self update to your lvs (using the highscores), I'm pretty sure they fit in the size limits
