  1. Thanks for the kind words. And the hacker took the money, my natures, cooked lobsters, dragonstone, maple logs, and yew logs. :\
  2. Thanks for all the comments and ratings... Working on getting 75 Woodcutting now, currently 69.
  3. Thanks for all the great ratings guys. I would write more guides, only thing is I dunno what about, Lol. But I'll look into it for ya. ;)
  4. Yeah, I did it the first 15 minutes of the release too. I've done it on like 6 different alts and I was bored today so I thought I'd make a guide for it. :wall: Was fun making the guide though, even made a video on another alt of it. Anyways, yeah, I dunno what's gonna be done with it about after Halloween or whatever, but I was just bored.
  5. Hello and welcome to Gooru's Complete Hallowe'en 2007 Guide! This is my first guide ever, so bear with me. ;) --- Walk south of Falador to the black portal. If you cannot locate it, it's the Christmas present icon on your minimap. --- You: I can't believe I'm doing this. Oh well, here goes nothing. --- You will be teleported to the lobby of the Grim Reaper's house. (Yes, the Grim Reaper has a house.) --- You: Well, I'm still in one piece - that's a good start. --- Walk east to the Grim Reaper and talk to him. NOTE: Don't try to go through the doors without talking to Grim, or you'll be zapped by gargoyles and teleported back outside next to the black portal. --- You: Erm... Excuse me... Could I ask... Grim Reaper: Speak, mortal. You: Well, sir, lord, erm, your highness... Grim Reaper: I need no title. You: Well, of course. Sorry. I was just wondering, what is this place? Grim Reaper: My house. You have found yourself here because I deem it necessary. You: You do? Grim Reaper: Long have I had a servant performing tasks as instructed. He left my service to pass on into death. Such a role is to be replaced. You: I see, so you want me to be your servant? Grim Reaper: Eager assumptions shall bring you regret, human. A worthy soul has already been picked for the position. My house is open now as various things need attending to before the transition can take place. You: So basically you want me to tidy up some things before your new servant arrives? Grim Reaper: Interpret as you will, mortal. --- You now have the option to help out or not. Select "I'll help out, no problem." --- You: I'll help out, no problem. Grim Reaper: Proceeding as instructed is the best way to survive here, human. I can always see you and can speak with you whenever I wish, as this is my domain. Go to the garden for further instructions. You: Always watched. To the garden. Thank you. Much appreciated. --- Pass through the doorway. You'll be in a large room with a spiral staircase in the center, a lounge to the west, and the garden to the north. Pass through the doorway to the garden. --- Grim Reaper: You have found my garden I see. You: Woah. You made me jump. How does your voice carry so far? Grim Reaper: That is not of your concern. Whilst in my domain you shall never be far from my gaze. You: Okay... So, what exactly do you want me to do out here? Grim Reaper: My last servant died in here. His skull still remains and you must bring it out to prevent my next servant from getting the wrong impression. You: And I suppose your servant was killed by some huge man-eating spider? Grim Reaper: That is not your business, mortal. Anyway, the webs you see are from a nest of very small spiders. Some webs you can pass, some you cannot. You will only need to use your bare hands to break through. You: Sorry I asked. I'll go find the skull and bring it back out of the garden. Grim Reaper: Yes, and do not try teleporting out of the garden with the skull. The skull will remain behind and you'll have to find it again. --- The above picture shows the route I took to get to the skull (red dot). The orange dots are approximately where the webs were to get there, and the yellow dots are approximately where the webs were to get out of there once I had the skull. NOTE: The path to the web is different for everyone. (Thanks fellow Tip.Iters. ) Once you're out of the garden, pass back through the doorway. You will be shocked by the gargoyles, but not to worry, it's harmless. --- You: Woah, what'd I do? Oh no, the skull's gone. Grim Reaper: Do not concern yourself. I had instructed the gargoyles to take it from you. You: You could have let me know! I almost had a heart attack. Grim Reaper: Please proceed to the westernmost room for your next task. You: You don't waste time, do you? So, the room that looks a bit like your lounge? I'm on my way. --- Go west through the doorway into the lounge. --- Grim Reaper: You made it. You: You sound surprised. Grim Reaper: You wouldn't be the first, or last, to die in this house. You: I'm so pleased. So, to the task at hand. What should I be doing in here? Grim Reaper: If you search around the room you'll find various items. Put them back where they belong. My diary is on the table - read this for some clues, but tell anyone what you read and you die. You: *Gulp* I shall have a look. --- Grab the diary off the table. --- You: Hopefully, by reading this, I can find clues on where to put any items I find. --- My Diary by Grim 12th Bennath I had such a busy day dealing out death today. It's not easy being grim. Realized that Alfonse is such a good servant. He seems to have the house in full working order. I shall have to congratulate him tomorrow. Spent some well-deserved time sharpening my scythe - Alfonse kindly reminded me to put the sharpener back in the cabinet. Such a good chap. 13th Bennath Went to the Wilderness today. Plenty of foolish people surrendering their lives to me withoght thought. My back is killing me from all the standing around waiting. Must get that seen to. Got my robes stained from one victim. Simply ruined! I decided to throw them in the fireplace - will light the fire soon. Oh, and I must remember to call mother. 14th Bennath A tragic day. Alfonse and I were in the garden looking at the state of the spider nest. I patted my trusty servant on the back in thanks for all his hard work. Sadly, my tough of death killed him instantly. Feel quite guilty. 20th Bennath House is getting into quite a state without Alfonse - things strewn all over the place. Almost trod on the eye of my mentor, eww. I put the eye back on the shelf so he can watch over me and make sure I stay true to his teachings. Went into Varrock to buy some new robes - people kept running away in fear, so it was difficult to find a sale. 21st Bennath Decided to spend a bit of time tidying today - it really isn't an easy job. In my activities I found my old 'Voice of Doom' potion on the bookcase - perfect for giving people a good scare. Oh, I do love my job. 22nd Bennath Ordered a new servant today from the agency and got a 10% discount for getting past the 1,000th servant mark. Woo hoo! The agency sent me his Last Will and Testament. Shall have to sit on that for a while. 23rd Bennath Acquired some bones today. Muncher should appreciate them as a treat the next time he behaves. The problem is there aren't many barriers he can't devour, so I decided to lock the bones up in the chest. 24th Bennath My plan to make undead fish is going quite well. I managed to obtain a resurrection hourglass today, so have added that to the fishtank to finish off the process. It's so difficult to have pets when everything you touch dies horrifically. I remember having a rabbit once that exploded when I fed it a carrot! 25th Bennath Got back home today to find Muncher has run around the house creating havoc - he even ate the postman! I scolded him, so hopefully he won't do it again anytime soon. All my things are in such a mess. I'm surely going to have to find someone to tidy things up before my new servant arrives. Don't want to seem totally incapable of looking after myself. --- Search the cabinets to find the Grim Reaper's robes. Proceed north to the next room of the lounge. Search the fishtank towards the right to find some human bones. Search the bookcases to find a scythe sharpener. Search under the sofa's cushions to find someone's eye. Search the fireplace to find a 'Voice of Doom' potion. Search the grim chest to find someone's Last Will and Testament. And finally search the shelves to find an hourglass. Now that you have all the items, it's time to put them in their proper places. Use the Human eye with the shelves. Use the Human bones with the grim chest. Use the Grim Reaper's robe with the fireplace. Use the Last Will and Testament with the sofa. Use the 'Voice of Doom' potion with the bookcases. Use the hourglass with the fishtank. Lastly, proceed back to the first room of the lounge and use the scythe sharpener with the cabinets. The Grim Reaper will then speak to you again about your final task. --- Grim Reaper: Looks like you've returned everything to its proper location. You: Woo hoo! Grim Reaper: You've not finished yet, mortal. Please proceed upstairs and enter the room you find there. You: Upstairs it is. --- Exit the lounge and go up the spiral staircase. Once you're on the second floor, enter the room to the south. --- Grim Reaper: The last room. You: Good job. I'm not sure my heart can take much more. Grim Reaper: As you can see, ahead of you is a course of a rather vicious design. I use it to keep my servants on their toes. Test it, please. You: Test? Grim Reaper: The course hasn't been used for some time. I wish to make sure it all still works. You: You've got to be kidding me. --- Go forth and slide down the slide. Then follow the springboards to the pool of slime. Exit the pool using the ramp on the opposite side and walk into the next room. CAREFUL! There are trapdoors everywhere, if you walk on one, you'll have to start the course over. --- From just behind the wooden gate, walk east four paces, north two paces, east three paces, south four paces, east three paces, north two paces, east one pace, north once more and east four more to the gargoyles. --- You will be zapped once more by the gargoyles and teleported back to the start of the course next to the slide. --- You: Huh? What happened there? Grim Reaper: Again. You: What? Grim Reaper: One more time around, just to be sure all is in order. --- Repeat the course once more following the steps above. You will be teleported outside of that room next to the spiral staircase. --- Grim Reaper: That is sufficient. You: Phew. Grim Reaper: Come and speak with me downstairs. You: I'll be right down. --- Climb down the spiral staircase, go back to the lobby and speak with the Grim Reaper. You: You wished to speak with me? Grim Reaper: Correct. You have completed the tasks as ordered, hence your time here is done. You: And I'm still alive. I rock! So...any chance of a reward for my service? Grim Reaper: Hmmm. Mortals and their goal-driven attitude - one thing that shall forever elude my understanding. As you wish, but trouble me no more. You: Thank you! You are rewarded with the Grim Reaper Hood and the Zombie Hand emote and teleported outside the house to the black portal, but not without one final word from the Grim Reaper... --- You: Well. That was an experience I shall never forget. --- --- Well that's it, hope it helped. If you have any questions, feel free to post. Happy Hallowe'en!
  6. G'luck fellow skiller. ;) Feel free to add and I'll come hang witcha sometime. :)
  7. Quick question...say we were to lose the hood...would we go to the guy in Draynor to get it back?

  9. Appreciate the offer...but I'm gonna try and get everything back on my own. :) I guess I'm gonna start cutting Yews from 60 to 75 Woodcutting to get me some cash.
