  1. Mind you, you have to be 13 to join tip.it., and this is the forum with answers to world hunger, the meaning of life, the bird flu epidemic (Oh yes, it's an epidemic now), some of the greatest contemporary literature writers of our time, people with subjectivity to see the perspective of others and, of course, a thong wearing lunatic raising money for charity.

...Why shouldn't 13 year olds vote?

  2. OK, so what gives the BNP, in this case, the 'right' to speak and incite racial hatred, which will inevitably end somone's right to 'live'?

Again, do you even know what you're condoning?

Explain to me how Inciting racial hatred can inevitably lead to someones death?

Go away and study the black civil rights movement in the USA of the 1940s-60s, and come back and tell me that racial hatred and racism does not lead to people dying.

By 'live', I'm sure Bubsa didn't just mean the privilage of actually breathing too.

Thanks for clarifying that. Alas, I had more faith on OT to pick up that point.

Hell yes I know. Don't take this the wrong way, but who's job is it to decide what's right and wrong? Everyone is entitled to their crazy opinion.

I'd hazard a guess, but I'm pretty sure, depsite what I just said about OT, nearly everyone would see the right/wrong in murder and its beginning.

Another question, are you sitting on that fence because you are so impartial, or because you don't want to come down to concede someone else's point?

  3. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it

Yeah, I've been playing Call of Duty, too.

A true statment,no matter where it appears mind you.

Couldn't agree more, but when someone merely quotes it, without elaboration of their own opinion and/or use of the quote, reeks only of pretentiousness and self-promotion through knowledge.

  4. ^ As long as they harm nobody and refrain from slander, why not? Don't censor bad ideas just because you don't like them (even if it's the majority that doesn't like them). Let them die on their own.

Don't join the book burners! <-- Great quote.

...You have no idea what I was talking about, do you?

Please, if you're going to reply to me, at least reference one bit of my point. #-o

  5. Why should they be given the right to publicy speak when they abuse the freedom of it for others, themselves?

Even so, you still can't take the right of freedom of speech away from anyone, even those who protest crap like that.

I see you take literally being able to say anything you want as "the freedom of speech".

I really wish people would open their eyes and stop thinking that.

That arguement would have been one helluva lot more convincing if it hadnt looked like one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic.

So that no-one had a chance to interrupt it was really quite hypnotic.

  6. Pre 40 preists are a bit annoying to level, after 40 (when they get shadowform) they kick [wagon] though.

If you want dots, roll a warlock. If you want to heal, roll a pally. If you want a mix, go for a priest! What I'm getting at is it's hard to be good at a specific role with a priest. If you know how to play, a shadow priest can (sort of) keep up with a lock. If you know how to play, you can do just as well as a paladin.

But all that is if you know how to play... Bad priests suck.

For DPS I'd take a Shadow Priest over a Lock to a raid any day of the week.

  7. The one thing Davies, Souness and McAllister (based purely on his lack of experience, so more of an educated guess) all have in common is tactical ineptitude. A Scottish manager barely needs to do anything to get the most out of the team, given from the passion shown for every match. What a Scot needs would be tactical knowledge and perhaps the impartialness to take a step back and re-assess things.

For that reason, two people (I think) who would be a dream manager for Scotland would be one of the free Italians right now, Lippi or, better, Capello. Not too sure how that would go down with the Scots here and in general, I'd obviously assume reservations over nationality and price. But if those can be overcome, you'd be looking at the World Cup Finals, for sure.

For a Scottish manager, I'd plump for McAllister. His lack of experience doesn't necessarily mean failure, eg. Klinsmann and Van Basten and I think he's the closest thing to the aforementioned description given. Plus, he'd champion the best 'style' of football out of the two and, let's face it, I don't see a big target man number. 9 for Scotland breaking through any time soon.

  8. I won't ever breed.

I just read over the first post properly..and I'm thinking to myself, this has GOT to be trolling. Its just too over the top. That line was the kicker. I dont think this is a serious post at all.

Even if it is, it's a lucky escape for mankind, IMO.

  9. Recommended realms roughly translates to either: A new server or A small population, evenly balanced server. For PvP I wouldn't really recommend it.

I'd definately recommend Frostmane or Stormscale for Eu PvP. Both servers aren't full (like Lag'Akir), they've produced some famous players in the past and have very quick times in arena/BGs due to their Group.
