  1. Basically the same, except switching the fire cape with skillcape (t) and dragon claws for the special.
  2. Alright the 45000+ hours isn't gameplay time but rather, the time since this account's creation. Long-Term Goal: Max Out Melee The Story: Last Year was an important year in schooling so at around late March, early April '08 I quit runescape for a while. Came back Early October to check out some things, but as End of Year exams were approaching, it was only for 2 or 3 days. End of year holidays started at around mid November - this is I guess, when i fully came back. So back to my old habits, camped in world 2 for merchanting. It didn't feel the same though with the trade restrictions, junk trading and what not. Decided to solo G.E merchant and do something whilst I waited for deals to be completed. So I chose to max out melee. Most of it was at Zombie Monkeys under the Ape Atoll Temple. A small part was also at waterfiends. Starting and ending stats (Mid november till 28th Jan) Strength - 95 >>> 99 Attack - 86 >>> 99 Defense - 86 >>> 99 Hp - 96 >>> 99 Prayer - 75 >>> 80 Summoning - 72 >>> 80 Dunno how much was spent as money came in and out everyday. Items bought: - Prayer pots - Super Sets - Summoning pouches, shards and 2nds - Teleport runes, Ice barrage runes (rock lobsters) - Dragon Bones Alright Here are some pictures: 99 Strength - 9th December 99 Hitpoints - 20th December 99 Attack - 30th December 130 Combat - 31st December 99 Defence - 28th January Yea, nearly a month after attack. Early January was out alot enjoying summer :P Runemonkey record: Bank Picture: ~50m in G.E also School starts on the 2nd of Feb so barely anytime for runescape then, thinking of slowly completing all quests so I can wear that quest cape I haven't been able to wear since two weeks after the release of skill capes  . Thank you for reading! Extra Notes: # Zombie monkeys do reach up to 105k xp/hr, didn't test it much but I got values between 75k and 105k throughout my training. 75k most likely when I was doing strength. # Items I merchant on G.E are for me to know only sorry :P # I used over 2000 banannas for teleporting
  3. Current stats: 86 attack and 95 strength Using saradomin sword, total +109 str bonus, 5% str prayer and salve amulet (e) Familiar is Obsidian Golem and I repot everytime i have to teleport out Averaging ~80k an hour (strength) Questions: Is that what I should be getting? Whats your opinion on using no str prayer? 10% str prayer? Thanks in advance :)
  4. The words 'partyhat' and 'stable' never go together :P
  5. That statement is assuming that whites have been sold for less than the trade price in the past. Of course it might not make sense if a random person read it, but it is assumed that most people would know 'selling at mid' also means 'selling higher than it was selling before'. Anyways, partyhats have opened up a new area of high level merchanting, some hours partyhats are being bought for cash, other times have partyhats being sold with junk and sometimes it can be the other way round.
  6. I've addressed the loss of the other three already but here's a more better explanation: The grand exchange updates according to the trades that have happened between the last update and now. Using a bit of logic and based on past updates, partyhats drop ~10% everytime. Red is hovering at around 140-150m meaning, the anticipated drop should have been ~1.4-1.5m. However, there was only a drop of 1m. If the anticipated loss was lower than expected, one would think that there would have to have been some sales ABOVE the trade price from the previous day causing the 'average trade price' to be higher. The grand exchange updates based on the average trade price of the previous day. Now doesn't this mean people are paying more than the trade price? If so, it is clear that greens and reds are going to change direction soon. Check for yourself, go to the grand exchange database and see what the maximum trade price has been for greens and reds - it isn't the lowest price anymore. In response to a more 'reasonable' price, partyhats are available to more people than ever before - if anything, the prices need to be adjusted higher (my personal opinion) so that they can once again be accessible to only those that have worked hard for the cash. Keep in mind that item lending allows anyone to wear one... Sorry if I talked too much in that post, just waiting for my anime to download, anyone a Macross Frontier fan? :P
  7. Heh, to be honest i thought someone on these forums would have made a thread by then but i guess not :) Anyways, based on that screenshot not only has purple and yellow risen (crystal clear now) but the amount green and reds have dropped is lower than in the past. White still took a ~10% drop but from what i've heard there have been a few red and white cash/cash + 3rd age sales. All i can say is that even if this is manipulation, it was pulled off successfully and is probably one of the highlights of 2008 (for me and probably a few others).
  8. A few things if i were to sell my own: - I'd be at the back of the line in the grand exchange anyways - I wouldn't post here to 'advertise' my partyhats - I would have sold them by now as people want them :P As for why, I'm guessing people are in a stage of panic, which has always happened in the past when partyhats randomly crash or rise - haven't seen this in nearly a year heh..
  9. Within a few hours partyhats, mainly purples and yellows, have changed direction - they cannot be bought for minimum price automatically anymore. Haven't had a chance to pop on but based on the official forums, merchants (a few who are friends) are even offering 3rd age to the deal. What do you think will happen next? I personally believe that greens, reds and whites are going to be bought out soon although i am not too sure on blues (blues have always been slow moving). Anyone here personally going to be affected? Discuss.
  10. I've got a similar problem with the firewall blocking 'runescape.com' - mainly because my brother overplayed I also used to directly link to worlds and just found out that doesn't work anymore. I did manage to get into the client page, however when it came to 'loading game code' it stayed on 0% with the bottom of the browser saying 'connecting to runescape.com'. I assumed that it couldnt load because it was blocked.... This might be the end :P My solution - talk to your parents and make a deal of some sort.
  11. Alright, been 98.99 Mage for a few days as I didn't want to get my rare untrimmed cape trimmed :P. Seeing as though I probably wouldn't end up playing after this month (and also because i can't tele if i stay at 98) I might as well get it. My Untrimmed RC Cape! The Last Alch & 99 Magic (Notice my cape is already trimmed :o) The New Cape Comment however you want, might spend some cash on skills for once seeing as though phat merching is dead (and my merch buddies have all gone :()
  12. Alright well I'm one of those phat merchants in world 2. Got a blue for 410M and decided hey, paying 540M for a cracker ain't too bad. I do plan on reselling and moving onto skills in January ;) Yea, my stats aren't the flashiest. Comment however you like :)
