Up to lvl20 ranging, train on Cows (recommended the one from behind the Crafting guild cuz there are less ppl). Maybe better until 30 range or up to 30 range, you can train on Minotaurs. From 30-50 Range, I trained on the Guards inside the Port Sarim jail. There are places you can hide behind and that's how I got my range lvls straight up. I dont know much about high level range training, so this is as far as I can go helping you. Hope this helps and gl :D

I am like a frickin F2P lord, so I can help you out :P You can take one of these options: If you want pure exp, train on Flesh Crawlers (lvl41) in the Stronghold of Security. Trust me, I got to 90 combat that way. Giant Spiders are also good, but Flesh Crawlers are less food consuming, plus they got drops, such as gems, steel arrows, etc. The only downside is that there are a lot more randoms. You can also do other things (multitask) while training on Flesh Crawlers, like view another forums, etc. If you want additional prayer exp, train on Ice Giants in lvl48 Wilderness. Yes, it sounds dangerous but the chances of a PKers showing up is very rare. Not to mention it is a single area so you are safe from clans. However it is slower training IMO. Look at it this way: Flesh Crawlers exp per kill: 133 xp Ice Giants exp per kill: 373 xp Ice Giants sounds faster right? However, you can gain exp from Flesh Crawlers at a faster rate. Hell, even top F2Pers I talk to that are 100+ combat told me they trained on Flesh Crawlers. It's your choice. I recommend the Crawlers though.

I see pros and cons with both F2P and P2P: F2P Cons: The majority of people there are like total noobs. Everytime when I walk around like whether I'm going from Lumbridge to Varrock, I kid you guys not, I have like 2 or 3 lvl10-30 people asking me "Can I have free money plz?" Questions like that, I am nice enough to tell them to raise their skills to make their own money. Now if it's something like "Can you be my bf because I need a rich bf to support me?" Pfft...for all I know, it's probably a dude in disguise trying to gain money, I mean some noobs are sad sometimes. And also, it's still fun yes, but it's slower raising skills. Pros: Not very many...Except the fact that because there is less to do, you don't have to worry as much like "Omg! I need to get my fletching up! Omg, I forgot to complete my Slayer assignments!" etc. Also, F2P PKing is real fun. It's pretty much all melee fights without your super-advanced Ancients or Mage bows or Barrows and whatever. The other day, me and my friend was chilling in Lumbridge cuz she was showing off emote and a lvl3 came up to us started talking, he was actually mature. It's cool to see that not all F2Pers are immature. P2P Cons: Too much to keep track off. There's so much frickin armor, I swear...You got Dragon armor, you have Barrows armor you have to fix from time to time, too many quests (not really a bad thing, but kinda frustrating...unless you're not a quester that is) and so forth. Some high lvls still call you noob for no reason. One time I was training my mage in the Wizards Tower and some girl was like "Rofl 85 nub" (I'm lvl90 atm, this was a month ago) for no reason whatsoever...She was a lvl101 too... Pros: It's funner, I won't lie, and you can make cash easier that way (flax, fishing guild, P2P PKing if you can get some Whips or Barrows armors) and at least more of the people are more mature than P2P. I really don't know much to say about P2P, cuz I've been P2P only for one month...I don't mind F2P, but I get irritated sometimes about hardly anything to do. Lol

July 8, 2007: After logging in today, I continued my range training in the Port Sarim Jail ranging guards until my Range rose from 48 to 50. This was a great milestone for me, for now I can wear the Blue Dragonhide once I obtain P2P. I wasn't online for a certain straight time...I continue my training for the next day. Lvl ups: Range: 48/60 -> 50/60

I need a good way to make money in F2P. Here are my stats so you can place some suggestions plz: Woodcutting: 63 Mining: 51 Smithing: 46 Runecrafting: 24 Crafting: 43 Fishing: 59 Cooking: 59. im a f2p runescape player and i need advice, help, suggestions, etc. as to what to do next cuz im pretty much done with the whole f2p stuff. i can't get membership yet cuz i know my mom won't let me use her credit card to pay for membership. so im kinda hanging tight, saving up so i can be member on money order but can some1 plz tell me good ways to pass time? thx :D
