Way too much, unless they were given permanent access. Maybe to enable higher people in the wars(if you pay the 10k you're allowed up to 30 players on your team, but if the other team has less people then you only get so-and-so). One problem with the clan wars. One guy could stake nothing and if his team loses lose nothing, but if his team wins earn, like, 20k, or whatever.

Will it happen? Who knows. Jagex might already be working on something like that - may they're working on a way for players to purchase extra bank space for GP, or even on some completely different idea all together. What I do know is that they've been working very hard on improving the game engine, the player interfaces, in fact, the whole player experience, for some time now. So I would be very surprised if a better bank wasn't in the works. We've seen changes in the player interface which will make it easier for them to port the game to other languages. We've seen improvements in the way things are done, such as being able to operate rings and amulets while wearing them. Jagex has done a lot in the past six months to a year in these areas, and I can't imagine that an improved bank isn't on the list somewhere. In the meantime, no more phr33 st0ph pl0x! ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ unless it's bank space!

I think darkblade hit it on the nose. RuneScape draws from a variety of sources *cough cough Camelot cough*, and I personally notice a lot of "fantasy standards" used in RS. The tree gnomes, mad kings, evil dragons, stupid goblins, evil red-robed priests, fulfilling prophecies to defeat eeevil...that's just a few of the standards I can think of off the top of my head. As far as other sources go, it could be argued that the idea of different dragon colors comes from D&D. And mithril armor I have actually seen in fantasy outside LOTR, although Tolkien probably was the first to use it. (I think it was David Eddings, but I'd have to check on that.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and then again, a lot of so-called fantasy standards are inspired by (aka lifted from) Tolkien anyway, IMO.

Also, adamynte(or spelled something like that) comes from the Drow(evil under-ground elves) in DnD.

Level 73, hardly ever play any more. Took a big break during the summer. Been playing since about January(so, half a year, excluding the summer).

Personally, f2p bank space is not too much of trouble for me, I don't keep any item that I can easily buy for 1 or 2gp from stores, unless I constantly use it (i.e. chisel). But if they add on more unretrievable items such as random event rewards, they should add on a row or 2 more of space.

I think they should have like a clothing bank, in which you can only store random event clothing. I've mentioned this idea a couple of times, but no one's mentioned it.
