  1. They don't do anything, so why go for them that way?

Let's ask limpbizkit why he goes for achievements, since after all, he has like 61K GS.

If you really want my opinion on achievements.

For me achievements are one of the more fun things of the xbox. It makes me pick up games I would not normally pick up. I have done boosting before and I have played some of the most terrible games ever made. Was it worth it? Yes. It's worth playing through every terrible game even if I do enjoy it just to find that one game that I pick up mainly for achievements and really enjoy. Having had many like that.

When it comes to boosting a lot of people do NOT realise how much of a long and boring process it is. Yeah I am going to "cheat" and use a few harder ones to start when it comes to this and boosting.

    Overview

    Estimated achievement difficulty: 10/10

    Estimated time for 1000 : 900+ hours.

    Offline: 8 (160 )

    Online: 41 (940 )

    Minimum playthroughs: 2 (3 recommended)

Missable achievements: Tact. Instructor if you don't finish every mission with a S ranking, which will happen most of the time, you will not get this achievement.

    Glitched achievements: None!

    Cheats disable achievements: No Cheats

Credit[x360a would like to thank nukefarmer for this Road Map]^

900+ Hours for achievements if you boost them.

With most of that time being spent on the on-line ones where you are pretty much forced to boost 2million experience per class for the Valor achievements.

If I remember correctly, a guy I am boosting with currently for another game has stated that you need FIVE people and all have to live for just 20 xp a game.

    List: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game ... ds/guide/#

Another game for boosting .. Quake 4 and G.R.A.W for the same reason. Leader board achievements.

    Quake 4 -

    Rank 1

    Rank 10

    Worldwide.

How do you get them achievements in fair play? I mean seriously? They are ones that you need to boost for using a "glitch". With G.R.A.W its a heck of a lot harder.

    G.R.A.W -

World Champion - Rank 1 overall worldwide.

Solo Champion - Rank 1 Solo worldwide.

Team Champion - Rank 1 Team worldwide.

Meaning .. A lot of very had achievements to obtain and takes a LOT of dedication. As I have said before a lot of people do NOT realise how much of a long and boring process it can actually be to boost.

    G.R.A.W - http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game ... ievements/

    Quake 4 - http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game ... ievements/

With games like Halo 3 a lot of it is skill based and now with it being a lot older game you get a heck of a lot of second accounters. If you are low rank or new to the game chances are you wont play your skill level but a lot of second accounters. So how else would you actually get the achievements when you stand no chance against all these second accounts.

Also you have games with achievements like 10 win streak from SFIV and 100 Ranked wins on UFC. You also get quitters and people that only use one move for a full game. So that's just yet another 2 games where a lot of people will boost the achievements for.

Ill end it here with a few links ..

And the last one being what a descent list of achievements

    http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game ... ievements/

  2. I love how EVERYONE that says it is wrong has never boosted.

Why is that hard to believe? Some people just don't like to cheat. It just cheapens the whole thing.

Yes but the thing is .. I'd rather do it the Legit way and have fun.. Anyone that has boosted will no it is a stupidly long and tiresome process.

  3. Nintendo will milk their cash cows to the last drops of disgusting sour milk.

Bungie is seriously milking the Halo series since it came out in 2000. There have been more Halo games than any of Nintendo's first party characters games (In that 2 mario, or 2 zelda, etc). Bungie is up to 6 games since the company started. Valve is milking Left 4 Dead. EA milks all of their sports titles and the Sims.

Nintendo is not the only company that milks their franchises. ;)

Bungie are milking mainly because they said .. Oh we dont want anything to do with Halo after number 3 ... But they are making another TWO.

  4. Not 75 .. but a bunch of lists that people may find interesting ..

  5. They should make it illegal to develop games based on Movies, and Movies based on Games (for instance, Take Uwe Boll's efforts as a warning).
    Goldeneye007 on the N64 was great,okay?

    And Ghostbusters is great.

Afro Samuari isn't Too bad either.

  6. I think I get to go to Summer Slaughter. :D

Ensiferum, Blackguard, Necrophagist, Suffocation, and lots more.

    10 bands total I think.

    Oh, I guess not. -.-

What the [bleep] my mom just came into my room and game me some 20 minute speech about suicide and the lyrics of some death metal. :wall:

    Seriously, its just [bleep] music.

Why doesn't she give my brother a speech about [cabbage] rappers talk about.

No offence to fans of Death metal but Ive always found it hard to hear what they are saying half the time without having headphones on. A rapper I can hear CLEARLY word to word.

  7. Ewww? P.C. kicks the [cabbage] out of any console.

    It really is personal preference.

True. But still, PC has a modding communtiy, though it won't be as good as that of a Valve game.

PC will dominate a 360 when it comes to Valve games. And some RPGS.

Any windows game is not worth getting on pc seeming as the cost you make up from pc gaming which is cheaper games and free dlc .. You now have to PAY for.

  8. When I say more skillfull I mean that it is also the most useful. Backburner is useless against

A: Players with more than half a brain

B: Players at a range (no deflections)

Not to mention you can't put out fires on people, you can't push people off of the cart, off of platforms, away from you to get away... pretty much you give away a lot of utility for a crit from behind, when in reality you're going to kill someone in a few seconds flat either way -- crits or not.

It's just a worse gun. I mean, if you use it obviously it's not a problem -- just saying that backburner W+M1 pyros aren't exactly useful unless you're just playing against a bunch of idiots.

Back burner basicly goes of the idea of flanking from behind where you will not need a compression blast. You dont have to be any good to realise you are going to get flanked that way by a pyro .. Compression blast for me personally is useless as I find using a pain in the backside and the 200 ammo in the gun is gone a lot faster with it.

  9. Honestly, i never saw a difference.. and im friends with some of those famous no-scopers (vG I DYN0M1T3 and some others) and they say they've never seen any difference.

Look DYN0M1T3 up on youtube and sub to him :)

    lol @ "famous no-scoper"

Oh, I take it you're better then?

I just find the whole idea that someone who just runs around shooting from the hip and hoping to actually hit someone can be famous laughable.

And I'm not sure where you saw that I said I was better than him. There actually wasn't even an "I" in that original post :-k

    Try that.

Thats a lot more quick Snipes than no scopes.

And in all honesty I dont find something mainly based on luck that impressive at all. To me no scope is just dull and boring whilst being fun in small private "no scope" games.

You don't really understand how no-scoping works do you?

Yes I do. I just think most people that do especially people that go out of there way to show there so called "skills" off on youtube. I know how to no scope perfectly fine thank you. It's also just dull and boring like youtube.

It to me is just dumb and done by people that think a good shot is shoting at point blank and using mainly QUICK SNIPES than no scopes as a bad video and a joke.

  10. ^Flobots are one of the better bands I've seen live

I saw La Roux the other night. I've never seen anyone so miserable, she must have smiled about five times in the eight - EIGHT! - songs she played. I don't mind bands having attitude sometimes but at least look like you might be enjoying yourself too, it seemed like she thought she was doing us a massive favour by putting in such a pathetic amount of effort. Plus she was rude to my friends afterwards. There was no interaction with the fans at all. The support band Magistrates were good though.

It proves slapping a big pile of [Cabbage] together can put backsides in seats.

Dont get me wrong there ARE a lot of talented acts like her out there. But if they don't want to bother with fans then they should just give up. Its the fans that stop the label from dropping you. Not that sheet of paper you signed.

Yeah I know, she needs to realise that. If she'd've been slightly less arrogant I might have been tempted to go see her again with some friends. Now we're making a point of not seeing her. I hate wasting my money on people like that lol.

I just hope NME get bored of her soon

When people have the sense to realise that the sex appeal they think she has .. Goes .. Then they will. Probably a lot of people who thinks she has "sex appeal"

  11. I never really got the whole wrestling is fake debacle. Yeah, there is some exaggeration involved but a lot of the pain you see them go through is very real. I remember one wrestler getting interviewed and some guy said that wrestling was a complete fake. The wrestler slapped that guy in the face and asked, "Was that fake?"

If I remember right that was Roddy Piper that said that.

And it is a correct point. For people to call it 100% fake really should watch an actual match.

  13. Since this topic is still alive... the cause of death has been determined to be severe damage to the spinal chord, not from that one move but from years of punishment and the very physical Japanese style that involves people getting dropped on their neck and head a lot.

Yeah in Japan they take the wrestling seriously and is full of some of the hardest wrestlers you will meet. The amount of times a Wrestler will get slammed as brutally as they would in Japan in America is hardly ever.

This also shows that Wrestling is not just entertainment but how much these people put there bodies on the line to entertain you.

  14. Honestly, i never saw a difference.. and im friends with some of those famous no-scopers (vG I DYN0M1T3 and some others) and they say they've never seen any difference.
