Well, since I have been kinda bored lately I started messing with PS again and made mayself a (few) new avvys and a sig, and decided I needed a bit of practice, so basically the first 5 who post here will be made a free avvy so I can get some cc on how to improve. I don't really do pixel, so if you desperately want me to do one be warned, it will suck. Just stick ur ideas and any pref size in the post and I'll make it (although it might take a bit cos I'm sposed to be revising for exams) Go... OK heres a few samples on request; My old avatar First new av I made (I got a bit hooked on spirited away) Minimalistic version of my current avvy Avatar that never really came to fruition as it was too big for board rules. I will do brushing too (see below) though, even though I have no brushed avs here..as I said, I just want practice and criticism

It may look better, but urs is kinda boring. You need to be able to do chars really not scenes, most of the money is as he said in character sigs.

Well if you have photoshop you can use the magic wand tool/polygonal selection tool, to select the areas you want and then fill them with colour, then u can eiter leave them like that or add some stuff in paint/ps. Hope this helps.

first off, as you work on it save it as png so that you dont get distortion on the final as jpg the colours overall look pretty good, maybe add some shading or texture? you're right about the staff, maybe make it longer? changing the font to something more interesting eg photoshopping something makes a big diff it also kinda looks like ur standing on a pizza, or is that just me? pretty good for second pic though :D

What do u guys think of my sig? only made it in about 5 mins cos i felt bare without one, and i lost the one from the old forums. it serves to keep up with my stats :D how do u think i could improve it? rate if u feel like it :twisted:
