  1. uninstall java i know it sounds stupid, after uninstall run scan disk and defrag and reboot. after this reinstall java. It could be that the area java was installing on is corrupted or the file was corrupted this should fix the problem and if not you may want to consider the dreaded f-disk of the system... hopefully the person who sold it to you gave you the system disks
