  1. I'm more curious about something other people have brought up...How does this affect wilderness clue scrolls?

If other players can override the NPCs involved with these, then I'll have an issue with this update...otherwise, I don't care; I've yet to be pked Abyss Crafting, and I don't do much else in the wild anyway.

Whats the difference, if some one wants to kill you at axe hut your going to die whether they have to wait 12 seconds while you kill the npc or not.

With what I wear for most of the clue scrolls, the chest overrides the entire sextant/watch/chart set, and therefore gets protected...If I have the time to dig a second time, I'll keep the chest, and get a fairly free trip to a safe zone to open it without being killed with the next clue or the reward.

But I wonder, why did you mention the axe hut? I've never been there, so anything involving that makes no difference to me.

Axe hut is a lvl 3 clue coordinate, guess you dont do as many clues as you claim to, its pretty common.

Okay, so the axe hut's apparently part of a level 3 clue scroll, you don't have to fight the axes for the next part, do you? I want to know if they can override the NPCs you have to fight to continue, like the Zamorak Wizard and the Double Agent.

  2. The same way you did the first time would be the easiest way, or you could plant a goutweed Tuber and wait for it to grow, pick the Goutweed off, and use that...

I recommend the first option, personally.

  4. I like the idea of a highly challenging quest with a potential new guild as a reward, but what would be in the guild?

And, since everyone's throwing in their ideas for a guild name, why not the Master's Guild?

P.S. Darkness of Hallowvale wasn't that hard, just tedious and rather confusing...My poor sense of direction caused me numerous problems doing that quest.

  5. I'm curious as to why the Saradomin Sword has a special befitting of being a weapon of Saradomin (Similar to Saradomin Strike, apparently) But the Zamorakian Spear has the same special as the Dragon Spear. I'd have expected something else than a more powerful Dragon Spear from this.

    It's a MELEE ICE BARRAGE!!!

You nail em with it and you get frozen for 30 seconds, which gives you an opportunity to do a ton of damage.

Tell me where is says teh Zamorakian

Spear does that. I am not talking about the Godswords for the two respective deities, I'm talking about the other weapons.

  6. I'm wondering...Are you fighting them for a slayer task? The one time I didn't fight them for a slayer task, I got nothing. On average I get ~2 per task (Some more, some less, but I've been lucky recently.)

Just keep trying otherwise, you'll get it eventually.

  7. I'm starting to wonder if there are some people in the Customer Support don't have some odd sense of humor, and grant the appeal just because it's funny.

But really, if this is a constant example of how the appeals system works (ignoring well-written paragraphs, granting poorly written...well, junk), then that might explain why they ignored the one appeal attempt I ever tried (I hadn't even been aware that you could get 10.5 blackmarks and get banned for Offensive Language...Glad it was just a side account that I had been on on a whim.)

  8. I don't know, I'd be tempted to respond in a similar fashion. Whenever I play an MMORPG (or any other game, for that matter), I try to stay "In-character". To me, that sounds like a reasonable farewell, unless you are a skiller, and don't fight (in which case, you *could* get offended, but that'd be silly O:) )

  9. It's an interesting idea, but I'm going to have to strongly oppose the idea of the Stronghold Wars Cape. For something coming from a mini-game, this cape is overpowered, and the only reason I don't just say no to it outright is the 10 minute wait time needed before you can actually start the main part of the mini-game.

To top that off, there's the 20k exp lamp. I highly doubt JaGEx would ever allow training that could be that convenient. I realize that you put restrictions on the usage of it for a reason, but the fact that you could continuously buy one over and over again makes it too easy to train otherwise tedious/expensive skills.

This mini-game also negates what I assume is a JaGEx money drain: Construction. This game costs nothing, and you could use it to get some of the most expensive construction items while training that and other skills.

Oh, and it's hard to smelt without a furnace anywhere...I'd recommend putting one in (Unless that's what the runes are for, but I doubt that many people would use them as such.)

  10. If I'm reading this properly, you want F2p-ers to have room for 150 friends on their Friends list, and have Members have 250?

What happens to members who become F2P with over 150 friends?

now there is the same problem: members can have 200 friends, nonmembers 100

i guess it just works like with bankspace, you can remove friends but not add any if you have too many as a nonmember

Wait...It's actually like this? I didn't know. Suppose that goes to show how many friends I have at any given time.
