  1. Sounds like /b/ would be a great place for you then since it doesn't require much brain activity either.

Look, I don't know what this /b/ thing is nor what this has to do with the subject, and honestly, I don't really give a hoot. If you're just going to troll after flaming me for trolling then really, you're the idiot to me.

Anyway, I don't really get your problem, he wasn't asking for a warm tip.it welcome otherwise I'd given it to him and responded in a human way, heck, I'd even given him some pointers for any next topics he might want to start here. Little details like...hmmm I don't know, maybe actually explaining what we're rating? All he does is post some picture without a story like we're all morons waiting for pwetty pwictures to entertain us on the interwebz, sounds like something your /b/ thing should be interested in.

You can call me a troll all you want and stick up for kids just sticking pictures on this forum, sure, that should raise the average level on these forums.

If anything the admins should clean up after the general pictures thread it's these topics.

Wouter, how about instead of trolling him as a welcome to tip.it you give him constructive criticism or atleast a rating after all this forum is called Rate this. Tip.it admins cleaned up the pictures thread in general discussion now they need to clean the mess of Rate this! up.

I'd rather not waste more of my time excessively explain how 90 magic isn't something I'm waiting for in rate this when I can just use a meme to explain it in 2 seconds. Saves me and him a load of brain-activity.

But thanks for wasting my time.

What are you waiting for then? Are you waiting when you can finally think of something good to say?

And 90 mage means a lot to me cause im also 10hp and its been a mid term goal of mine..

Well why the HELL don't you say that in your first post? All I see when I open this topic is a picture of some dude getting 90 magic. I don't know what your stats are, I don't know what your plans are, goals, nothing. All I SEE is a picture of a level up, one which I don't find sufficiently mind-blowing to deserve it's own topic.

If you had posted a little story saying how you've worked hard for this level, how you achieved it, which methods, what helped you on your journey to this level, then I wouldn't have just used a meme to respond. Then you would have earned a proper response. Now, if you're going to flame me for not going through the trouble of writing a proper response for your 'achievement' then I say shut the hell up and take a little more time to earn that response with a proper first post.

We can all post a jpeg, and we can all post a meme.

Now to stop the arguing, I'll give you a rate, though you still haven't earned one.

4/10, look, the magic level is nice but I don't quite know why you're posting it. It's not halfway to 99, no special spell to my knowledge, no special use, I don't know by your first post if it's your first 90, what you're planning to do with it (pk maybe?). All I see is a not-so-special level to me.

  3. I can't say I see the need for 5 gardens. Also, I like having two portal rooms and my altar right by my house entrance, with my glory a step away from the altar. Very practical.

Good idea for the glory, hadn't thought about that, I'll probably switch the portal room for a quest hall and shorten the dungeon a bit. Thanks :)

And I'd need 2 garden at least, 1 garden is going to be a meangerie and the other two are probably just going to look nice. I'll look into them again, however.

I tried understand it, but I just kept on wat-ing all the time.

    WAT

    10/10 even though i can't comprehend it.

You forgot to elaborate. 0/10 for you.

Nice bedrooms on the corners L, needs a bit more win though

Well where else would I put them? :P

RHQ's house planner looks like a kid took a rainbow [cabbage] and then drew it in ms paint, use RSB&B's here.

    This is my house plan:

    (image)

-7 skill halls for all 7 monster heads, and all 7 armour sets. I know decorative and smithed sets are different hotspots but I want to only have 1 armour set per room. 2 of every trophy fish is also planned for upsatirs.

    - 3 quest halls for all 3 guild items, all 3 swords, and all 3 map sizes. The 2 ground floor quest halls are the only rooms with doors that exit outside the house.

    - 3 gardens for a basement enterance (northwest) a house portal (northeast) and a decoration (southeast). Each garden hotspot contains a different plant, meaning every possible plant is used except for the dead tree. The menagerie has no habitat, meaning the 'floor' is just grass, so it all looks like 1 courtyard. The house portal is beside a portal room and altar, and 1 room away for another portal room, the menagerie, and a quest hall for a hung glory, for practicality. I don't like formal gardens so I didn't include any.

    - 3 games rooms for every possible game.

    - 2 combat rooms for a combat ring and a balance beam.

    - 2 studies for an eagle and a demon lecturn, although I never makes tabs.

    - 2 bedrooms so I can have a servant.

    My plan modified for you:

    (image)

Thanks for taking this seriously! However, I don't quite agree with the setup of your house. I'd really like a dungeon, which your house is lacking. Also, I am not looking for that many quest halls, skill halls. I'd like to see how a menagerie is going to look with the other gardens, probably will look nice. Contrary to you I am not looking to put in every kind of plant, every kind of mounted head, fish or painting. I just want a functional and nice looking house. So it'll probably contain the crème de la crème of what is available in furniture. So though I see where you're going I am afraid that I am looking for a completely different house.

  4. I just noticed, I have three skills that are higher than yours. =]

    Happy moment.

And then a sad moment cause it's only three.

One of which I haven't had time to sufficiently train, another because I absolutely hate it, and another one because I only train it when I am talking on Skype or am extremely busy.

But..since we've been friends for quite a while I will give you the benefit and say congratulations. Now if you'd actually talk to me in game once in a while we'd be straight.

Aww has the little baby not had it's much needed attention? :o

Keep slaying son, don't get distracted.

  5. So, I've thought about what my house should look like and figured I'd ask your opinion. Of course I do have a POH at this time but it's just the nescessities. I'll be needing a chapel, which I haven't built yet in my present house, for 99 prayer. So before I go wasting mills on something I'll tear down later anyway I thought I'd use the house planner. This little ingenious piece of coding by RuneHQ allows you to plan your dream house, without any costs. So here's what mine looks like.

    The requirements:

    - at least one of all the rooms and at least two bedrooms.

    - at least two combat rooms for different combat types

    - combat rooms must be situated in the dungeon

    - a garden at least two rooms' size

    - a chapel directly north of a garden ( this garden will house my house portal for easy access to train prayer )

    - a minimum amount of doors sticking out at sides not facing a garden (basically a back door without a use)

    - there must be an oubliette directly under the throne room

    - there must be stairs close to the oubliette for easy access back up

These requirements led me to this result:

    HouseSketch1.png

N.B.: The dots say which room leads to which dungeon room (colours are the same), also one of the gardens will be a menagerie.

What I'd like is to hear your thoughts on the subject: what do you think could be better? do you agree with my requirements? and of course I'd like to know WHY! So please elaborate :)

Now if you think 'Gee, I'd like to design a house of my own! Where does one find such a planner?' then I have the answer for you in the form of this pretty link: RuneHQ House Planner. Credits to RuneHQ and Oblivion590 for making this planner.

Comment, rate but be sure to elaborate!

  6. I do think we've come to a point where money is very important in-game. I'm not sure about back then but I've heard stories about people persueing a certain amount of wealth. The game's always been about money, now there's just more ways for the not-so-lucrative player to get it. So now everyone focuses on gaining wealth, instead of just playing because they don't know how to make money.

  7. grats on a good 99

some of your noncmbs are pretty low, and your bank is pretty bad for your level.

9/10 for hp (constitution still sounds wierd)

    6/10 overall

Just cause your bank is over 300m doesn't mean we all need that big a bank. Sheesh, the arrogance.

Grats, good luck on finishing off defence if you mean to.
