  1. yes because pkers want fun/skilled fights where the best wins instead of the first that clicks his spec bar.

I don't think anything will change with extremes then, for the past few years it has always been about lucky specs or lucky combos. That's the only way to win a fight in rs anyway? All you can do is wait for a few lucky hits from either your main weapon or your spec weapon. There is no skill in edge pking, and very little in hybridding.

    Extremes should be allowed.

Max hit for someone edge pking with extremes: 548

Max hit for someone edge pking without extremes: 520

    (rapier/rune legs and plate/dragon defender/dragon boots/strenght ammy/neitiznot)

That's not even 30 lifepoints higher.

Also, the best food available in runescape are juju gumbos and baron sharks. I know they're slow to get and considered to be not worth it, but isn't that why so many pkers don't have extremes to start with?

If you work for something you should get the advantage.

DIVINE NERF DOESN'T ABOSRB DAMAGE ANYMORE

Nice fail jagex on not showing the 30% reduction. Shameless promotion of the DG shield which, frankly, suck mega donkey balls.

I am honestly getting tired of the bull [cabbage]. Jagex needs to get better developers, who actually know the game, and gain some better communication skills, so that the KB can be correct. The number of errors is abysmal.

Jagex could always use players as beta testers for most updates. They are completely free and a few 100 players can test content way way more thoroughly than a few quality assurance jmods can.

  3. I was more or less directing it towards those who have been posting it to shove it in people's faces. I'm sorry it just happened to be yours (a legitimate 'finally got a hood to bind' picture) that I finally snapped at all the hoods.

Both oropher and gremmy are (were?) my friends though.

    7 spiders/ 0 hoods so far today.

  4. I think we're all forgetting a most important factor of thesed sought-after weapons; the looks.

The Chaotic Longsword beats the Rapier by many lengths, as after several days of testing, I seem to be contacted by a lot more girls. I took both the Rapier and Longsword to the Grand Exchange in a high-populated world and tried to hook up with as many girls as possible:

I tried every line I have ever used in real life and tested on every girl around me - 1000 girls with Rapier, and 1000 girls with Longsword. With the Rapier I managed to get in touch with 763 girls, while the Longsword got me in contact with 895 girls. This is 132 more girls, or 13.2%, which more then the "marginally" superior difference it seems you have concluded. This is a fantastic discovery, and will help us in the future, when we need to do the final efficiency tests and really find out which weapon is the best.

I would like to thank my mom for helping me through this hard time, when the girls were being rough on me. I did this, however, for all of you to help you truly understand the strengths and weaknesses for each weapon.

Also, thank you #pr0s and #dutch_pride on IRC - these people are truly amazing and gave some good inputs on my tests.

    I hope I helped.

PS: If you ask me, what really made a difference is the name of the Longsword, as this is similar to the male phallus, and might be more intriguing to today's somewhat [bleep]ty girls around the planet.

Now we just need someone with a Chaotic Maul to test if it's better than the Longsword in this aspect.
