Maybe I'm odd but I've never liked 2 handed swords. Personaly instead I'd make longswords or scimis (or both), and kite shields.

I haven't gotten a rune defender yet, I'm up to mith. But I spent a long time with just an iron too, then suddenly I got the next few pretty fast so yeah, it's random. Nice to know I'm not the only one with problems with this.

I've looked all over and I couldn't ever find more then 2 in one place. Best place I found was a west from Catherby since it was nice and close to a bank. A lot of other people had the same idea so I had to deal with that. I also found that it's best to use some sort of range or mage attack. I say this since I often had to deal with other players going for them to, and by using range/mage I didn't have to get right up to the unicorn which helped a bit. Do be aware that this is just what I found, I may be wrong. (it's happend before)

You gave me Often or Rare options. It's closer to rare then often. Thus my answer of rare. I'd say it's at least semi rare. Not extremly rare like dragon items. But they aren't going to drop all the time.

So far in my experience it's rare. As in I don't see everyone wearing one, and I've killed at least 200 of these things without getting one. An it only takes lvl 58 Slayer to kill them. So if they weren't rare I would expect to see more of them

Chaos druids are also in the members dungeon in Taverly (just follow the path around, you'll see them. Or under Yanille in the Agility Dungeon but you need lvl 57 agility to get there, (more info at http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... ungeon.htm) And theyare in my opinion the cheapest way to go. Unless you're a really low lvl you can kill them all you want without needing any food.

Just a reminder you switch tasks by talking to the Slayer Master in Buthorpe. I know everyone probably knows this, but I didn't for a long time so I wanna make sure.

Personally I like number 4 just cuz I like space ships. A lot of the other ones look good too! BTW first post!
