TWO YEARS. I expect that amanda will end things with ben before he leaves for the trip. Its not like there's ANY hope of them staying together after that.

If you think that relationship is doomed, just listen to this... My sister's boyfriend is a Mormon. They are both in their senior year of high school. However at the end of the year, her boyfriend will be going off on some mormon missionary trip... for two years. And he's not allowed to visit or have ANY contact with anyone outside of the missionary trip. Not even on holidays. And as a mormon, after he gets back, it is expected that he will get married right away. Two years from now, both my sister and her boyfriend will be completely different people. They'll be like strangers meeting for the first time.
