Everyone hates Macroers. Exept the Macroers themselves, which is paradoxial. Here is an Idea that will make cooking a much more respected skill, like it was back in the days of RSC. The idea is that food doesn't heal HP anymore. Instead, it contributes to your hunger level. By eating food, your hunger level increases. If your hunger level gets too low, your stats start to drain. Eventully, if you don't eat, you will die of starvation. This will stop macroers, and also give chefs more recognition, as higher leveled foods will fill hunger higher. Now, most people can't eat a full shark in one bite. So I propose that food must be eaten over time, and bonuses to hunger increase is awarded depending on where you eat it. For example, setting up a campfire and sitting by it to eat gives no bonuses, while dining at your own house gives a 20% bonus. This gives a practical use for dining rooms. You could also go to a tavern and eat there, which gives a 10% bonus. Now onto the new skill... tailoring. If food no longer heals HP, then something must. And that something is bandages. Bandages can be made with various hides and silks found across the world. They heal different amounts depending on the tailoring level needed to make them. You also can make clothing with tailoring. The idea of this update is to give RuneScape a new sense of realism... and stop macroers in their tracks. Now, I know that it might get annoying, mining rune in the wildy, and having to bank too often due to hunger issues, but seriously, people in real life can't spend half a day mining rock and be perfectly fine afterwards?
