  1. There has been Tip.it and Jagex interviews, not so sure about direct Tip.it Times interviews though.

It was an interesting read and I'm curious to see whats in store for the new floor sets. Should be good, even though I would've thought Mark would of talked a bit more (even if it was just about silly stuff. :P) it was still a very good read.

  2. Couldn't get over how amazing yesterdays espoide was, I was in total 'O.M.G' shock.

    [spoiler=Spoilers]

It was cool we got a deep understanding of 'The Rules', well not that their was a direct mention of them - but they were part of the rules, like why Smokey couldn't directly kill Jacob but someone else? I'm sure this is the same for The Candidates. Shame Sawyer didn't listen to Jack, the bomb definitely wouldn't of went off.

Was totally gutted for Jin, Sun, Syaid and I assume pilot man died. (can't spell his name. :P)

Are we totally sure Jack is the Candidate then? I know Syaid said 'It's you Jack.' but what was his logic behind it, did Smokey tell him or something, or what?

And to regards that Locke knows whats going to happen, whatever he can but obviously he knew how to play it out. He could be playing a bluff, possibly he can predict what they do with this knowledge of them so well after all this time. But who knows it could be much deeper.

  3. That was very good, I enjoyed it, very relaxing piece of music choice. :) Your creativity for the scenes and relating them to the lyrics are very good, I would agree to the above poster that a little bit less of the same scenes for the chorus would go a long way.

Also, I think perhaps some experimenting with the Orb of Ocolus would work well for you, to get that bit smoother video captures and better positions. Breaking the limit of the RS screen. Perhaps something to try out for your further videos, it would give them a lot more potential in my opinion - but otherwise it was very good and I hope you keep them up.

  4. I am heavily considering to go, its just a battle of convincing my parents to go to London for a long weekend, oh and slip in that theres this fest thing...

As a matter of curiosity, is anyone wearing any Tip.it pride/symbol to it? :P If I am allowed to go, I think I will buy this jumper. Looks pretty good, subtle but it gets the point across. :D

There is loads of clothing apparel in that store you can have a look around here: http://www.cafepress.com/rstipit/2145948

Thats what I call Tip.it Pride.

  5. Thanks for the tips guys and hey Harry it's been too long, I hope you are keeping well. :D

I shall keep the advice in mind, of trying to avoid hats and basing outfits on them. See how new to it I am. :P The hat was more of a basis's of trying something new haha, but who knows I might buy one in future. Would be nice to be going with a fedora/tribly to a nice fancy due type thing in the future.

On the other side of things, I am not a fan of patterns (especially floral ones for that matter. I rather subtle ones which don't dominate the clothing), it really depends doesn't it?

I stumbled across that Geek Chic fashion thing, looks okay, but it seems difficult to pull off, I'd rather play it safe myself.

  6. I seen this yesterday while poking about in the forums, I have heard about it and I am interested in the concept. So I took it into practice last night after reading your post. I think I was a few minutes from feeling 'the weight' but I couldn't reach it, my mouth was annoying me far too much. I should of breathed through my nose the whole time instead, but I gave up and went to sleep 'normally.'

Another factor that might of played in preventing me Lucid dreaming was what I ate. I indulged myself to a few skittles (>.<) and I could feel the sugar in my body, so to speak. Which was very very irritating. Not sure what would help, but possibly more tea type stuff, I'll have a nice relaxing cuppa before bed tonight and see if that makes a difference of any kind.

  7. Hey guys, very interesting topic and I never thought I'd be one to think of fashion at all. But its really got me thinking and its kind of enjoyable and the reads are very good and informative. (Big kudos to Lent who oozes with wisdom!) Amazing tips. I hope you don't mind me also popping a question in here.

I've done a little bit of research of what I could do for my own, I'm not one to usually research clothing but there you go, haha. Anyway, hats came to my interest. I thought about Fedoras, (a new word I've learned.) they look nice but I'm told they are too (styled) old for me, being a teenager. I was pointing to this one. Would anyone find this true, false, or any other comments?

My friend suggested to me a flat styled cap, which are seemingly called Ivy Caps which I really like. (Expect the way most of them I found kind of sag at the sides which I really dislike, I think it looks nicer more defined If I am wording it correctly.) I did find this, which is from Country Gentleman if anyone's wondering, one which I really-really like. It has a perfect shape and when I shown it to a few friends they commented on how it would suit me and matches me so to speak. I might just order it, its a shame the shipping is double the cost price. :P

From a complete newbie to this sort of stuff, my question is what would I also wear for that? Casual, yet classish wear, you know to blend in but also give people that 2nd glance at. Or am I being completely wrong and should stay completely away from the hat altogether?

And to the owner of the thread, I hope you get all your looking for, apologises for half-hijacking your thread with questions and not being of much use to you. :P

  8. I too find it rather disheartening that the person who just started the thread is getting a general flame-like response and I agree with Qeltar - gaming addictions are real.

While some may say "oh they just need to get a grip onto reality and take responsibility."

While I do not speak for myself, I have seen many many problems from mental, to physical and everything in between with friends, both internet and real life, family and people you see and communicate every day. We are not all machines with unlimited willpower, as much as we all would love to be. :(

Perhaps no where near on the same scale as the person who started the thread but I also found myself slipping into trends of addiction to RuneScape, mostly in the year of 2007 when the game was at its peak (for me, especially after obtaining membership and exploring the world as a noob, great times - but a waste of time at that.) I'm glad to say I don't play myself as much, with school, studying and socializing. I hope the people who suffer similar social and gaming problems can get inspiration from it.

I hope the thread owner gets on well in life and I applaud him for beating his addiction and getting his life on track. Keep hold of that woman, keep at what your doing and get the best out of life. :)

If I also may slip in a plug, if you do find you need some sort of improvement or breaking of addictions gaming or anything. I recommended you read Personal Development blogs that are out there, some amazing articles that can help you change your life for all the better.

  9. Personally, I believe a Clan chat by itself would be sufficient enough for organising groups, discussing tactics and Dungeoneering in general, but then again it all boils down to popularity of the concept. Then again, theres more room for users taking on this responsibility then an official chat for it. As there is no other official chat for Tip.it and you don't want to give the impression of stealing members from already formed Tip.it based Clan chats.

I wouldn't be a fan of a forum strictly for the purpose of recruiting as I don't think it would be a major hit. A sticky/posting in the Events and Gathering forum seems more appropriate as suggested above. But as I said I would be leaning more towards the Clan Chat idea itself.

  11. Ok I just got home from work (spent 10 hrs today thinking about this omfg)

First off: is it crowd related? I know that there's teams, but I mean if its crowded (which it is obvsly) will that affect xp gains? (like hunter?) or is it like say rc or cook crwods don't matter (besides your party)

ALSO, is this a semi fast skill? too early to tell?

Crowds have no effect, the skill only will be the 1 to 5 people involved in the party.

Well with over 12 hours of the skill release, there are a few people with 40+, but I am in the mind frame that it will be a hard skill to level and it takes the certain niche to love it, where time will be no factor to playing the skill.
