bluedragon, i understand people like realistic, but ehm.. (not that ure wrong, its ur opinion) but do you think runescape is actually meant to be realistic? only having 1 realistic weapon is kinda silly, isnt it?

ill put it this way, and then i SPEAK FOR MYSELF, i love updates, even if they arent very usefull or too strong or too weak, but graphical updates i do hate, though a normal graphical udpate that were used to didnt bother me too much, though theres nothin wrong with the stance, its the active part ( the moving cape and that ur character keeps moving its head up and down) thats really gone far

u shouldnt take the rs bein wow too seriously... :-s

people rant with diferent motives, some acceptable, and some not... for myself i believe jagex wont quit making grpahics that doesnt suit runescape... as there are simple too many of those people who want this to be the next world of warcraft for only 5 dollars a month so.. why would i rant if i believe thats pointless.. its just a shared opinion and tell me, why u think these updates are essential? if u post here, do so with an argument please, as just a simple i agree or dont or in whatever form doesnt makes any sence why u would be right or not.

with the release of the god wars dungeon and the godsword jagex has changed the animations of the 2h swords. as alot will have noticed, its very active (too active, character bounce up with their heads like idiots, but im not ehre to tell that anyway). runesape has always been a very original game with its own not that superior graphics. but what makes runesacpe so enjoyable comparing to games like world of warcraft or everquest? well, its runescape gameplay and aura. gameplay speaks for itself, but the aura il explain: runescape has a feeling thats unique to it, an aura as i call it. this 'aura' consists of some medieval and more modern parts. the graphics are the presentation of the game and those are what can create or break this aura. when jagex started to update graphics, its ussually updating some monster or area or an animation. monsters turn out quite well i have to admitt, as long as its kept the way it is (e.g. not updating dragonlike monsters another time so they look like a dragon from a famous game) area updates im less positive about, some of them are ok, but if whole runescape gets updated it is like swiping away a part of runescape i think. and now to come almsot to my point... ANIMATIONS animations get updated so they look more realistic and this is what i found not needed to improve runescape, its good the way it is, but what really did it is the 2h swords: they first got updated so u have ur 2hander laying over ur shoulder, nothing wrong with, indeed it looked cool for runescape terms and it looks realy like runescape, stilll the same attack animations etc etc but now jagex updated it again and this time it kinda crossed the line, theres nothing wrong with holdin ur big sword with 2 hands and standing sideways, but why having a cape that keeps moving and just moving ur head up and down like an moron... after a could be longer and more boresome story i think this new animation is too active and kinda helps ruining runescape, after all, runescapes graphics were what made runescape runescape. realism is something that shouldnt make its appearance in runescape in such way, if this goes through we will end up with a game thats all but runescape, and runescape is cool (keep in mind that 1: before flaming that this is an opinion, in this case my opinion, before telling me im a ranter or something else, and 2: please only post if u have an opinion to share wich aint like 'AWSOME', come with arguments or something else and 3: i know what i talk about)

in my opinion runescape isnt meant to be this realistic all these changes in the animations make the feeling runescape has, less and less. i think the animations are too active, even when not doing anything while no other weapons have this. its like having only 1 weapon thats hyperactive and the other are the normal way. and to be honest, i feel pity for people who think runescape must get better and better graphics, for those graphics are what makes runescape runescape. and im fearing jagex will let them guide by these players who only can think of grpahics, so every graphic gets messed up and runescape end up being the next world of warcraft clone or so, losing its originality. but whats the point, people will never apreciate originality and whine and rant about it...

With the update this week, there has come some new headwear pieces along the dragonfire shield and the stronger crowwbows. the combination of a black cavalier - highwayman mask and black beret - mime mask. i would like to ask ppl to submit their pictures including the new headwear. Therefor im not completely sure if im in the right place for this, in case im not, my apologies.

i want to get myself a red female elegeant costume, i have 2 choices: -Do treasure trails and hope il be lucky enough to get female elegant costume pieces. - or buy a red male elegeant costume wich a friend offered for only 500k. my question (to determine the best choice) is if male elegent swaps gender, e.g. when i change from male to female, does the costume do so too?

last when i logged 2 weeks before my membership ended, i saw my membership credit was updated from 15 days to 380 days credit. The strange thing was i got an confirmation mail wich claimed i paid, while i didnt. my family or strangers could impossibly paid for me as no one knows i play runescape. yet at the moment my bank statements show there no money taken from my bank acount. currently i have 2 theories about this: 1) jagex made a mistake 2) its a trick, to directly subscribe me again so i cant get refundede money and they wil take the money soon from my bank acount. wich one it is, i would like to know what happened, and if it happened to you guys before too?

on a nice morning im trying to sell my sara skirt for 200k cash, suddenly a dude walks in, trades me and offers 1 mil(1000k) for a sara skirt. off course i accepted, and then he flipped it away and he changed it to 10k or a 1 with lots of 0's. i saw his attemp to scam me and declined immeadiatly and what does the noob say: kallenkootx is a scammer, report him!!! i've explained shouting that the other noob framed me. but have noobs who didnt get what they wanted or couldnt scam you framed you ? post your experiences with framing noobs here

Are the newer treasure trail items like the heraldic helms, elegant costumes, blessed d hide and god robes storable in the POH sotume room?

in that case im sure not get into the top positons fo those 1000000 players :shame:

imagine, ur a famous runescaper, everybody knows you and u got a dammed lot of cash and stuff, and very high skills (alot of 99s) u got ur acount secured with recovery questions, hard passwords and you dont do anything that could mean danger to your acount. over 5k of people try to hack you in the situation described. would u feel save from hacking? i wouldnt... how bout u guys?

i think jagex should put the rate of randoms down during combat, as it is frustating and very anoying for normal players, we dont ave to auffer for the autoers. besides, random events are only bulliying them a little bit, its not really effective. they should have some auto hunter guys....

i have to decide with who im gonna side in the hazeel cult quest... but ive read that clivet's side earns me a unique amulet, mark of hazeel and the other side, ceril i think, earns me a unique armor. but a guide says i have to return the armor. 1) is there a way to get these items back if i would lose them? 2) doesnt carnelian armor, the unique one from ceril's side look exactly like castle wars armor?

i think u guys shouldnt bother too much about this discussion, i mean what will you accomplish by it, jagex is not going to make it tradeable becuz u guys are moaning and groaning for pkers :boohoo: and besides, not everybody cares about pkers, its not that importnant :XD:
