Indeed I do!

I know this post is old, but since I am browsing, I figured I'd reply. AVG8 now removes spyware, so I no longer use AdAware. Anyway, I found AdAware 7 to be a bit buggy - it always crashed whenever it ran an update check. :\ No offence, but I hate that pile of ... y'know. I installed it once, and the next thing I know my hard drive is corrupted. Full of spyware.

What do you mean, 'give me a break'? Was I having a dig at you? No, I wasn't. So chill.

When I heard of the new RS HD, I was a bit sceptical about it. Having tried it out, I can safely say - that I don't like it. It's too laggy, even with the settings turned down. While I appreciate the effort Jagex have put into this update, I can't help but feel they are trying to compete with the other MMORPGS, like World of Warcraft and Guild Wars.. As a World of Warcraft player, I always heard my fellow players bashing RuneScape - especially the graphics. If you ask me, Jagex are hoping this update will bring more players to RuneScape - players who otherwise would have steered clear. Before, they would have looked at the graphics and thought "Oh, these graphics seem a bit too cartoon-ish.", and left. Now, Jagex are hoping they will think "Oh, perhaps I was a bit too hasty - I'll give it a shot." and then, after a while, "Wow, this is great! Its just like World of Warcraft!" Basically, what I'm trying to say is that this update, while good, will not have the effect that, I think, Jagex wants it to have. Either that, or they just want the people who do play to have a good experience - after all, it's not only WoW players who bashed the graphics - RS players did it as well... Now, these are just my opinions - so don't flame me for it.

As of today, I am officaly retired from RuneScape. I hardly ever play it, preferring World of Warcraft instead. When I look at the account I am giving up, I feel bad - it was a somewhat good account. But my mind is made up - I am retired.

HOLY RETRIBUTION Part Two of the Jonas Silversmith Trilogy Chapter One - Memorial The snow flakes appeared to be dancing in the breeze that swept through Falador. For it had been three years to the day since the march of the Automaton Army. I've not had much problems with keyloggers, as I use two very useful programs. AVG Free is my anti-virus software and AdAware SE Personal is my spyware killer. Both have served me well.
