Whats the best way to defeat Arrg in Troll Romance? I've tried Wind Blast, he killed me. I was going to try Range, but I didn't even get to turn on Protect From Melee before he killed me. I have Level 59 Magic - would Fire Blast, constant Snaring and Protect from Ranged help?

I am now. Completing the Waterfall Quest put my Attack level up to 62. My Attack level going up to 62 pushed my overall Combat level up to 77! \ :XD: :thumbsup: : That's questing done for now. I will go back to my original goals tomorrow!

Today, I decided to do Troll Romance, for the heck of it. I got to the part where I had to Fight Arrg. Using my awesome magical powers (Wind Blast), I entered into a fierce battle with the troll. All went well - until my prayer ran out. Then I had to run for my life. It was no use. With no runes to snare Arrg with, he killed me fairly quickly. AND HE ONLY HAD ONE HITPOINT LEFT. If I had kept my prayer points, I could have used Retribution to take him out - but I didn't, so now I have to do it again. But next time, I will do the following: * Sharks, not swordfish. * Runes to cast Snare! * PRAYER POTIONS! * DDS! * Prayer Boosting equipment - Monk Robes, Prayer Book, Neitiznot Helm If only I knew someone who used Lunar Magicks - they could heal me if things got tough.

It says in the Tips, Tricks and Notes section of Tip.It's Troll Romance guide: 'It is possible to safe spot Arrg. Range or melee him from the entrance and he should be trapped behind the wall near you.' I tried maging him from the entrance, and he was able to come right up to me and melee me. He only had ONE HP left, and I died. He was hitting me faster than I could eat. Said safespot DOES NOT EXIST. Unless I done it wrong. Where EXACTLY am I supposed to stand?

I had a sudden urge to go PKing earlier, so I knocked together some weapons and armour, got some swordies and paddled my way to level 35 Wilderness. After much walking around, I catch sight of a level 81 wandering around Level 45. I shadow him for a while and then jump him. He runs away, and I am bound to the spot by some Level 104, who proceeds to lay into me with a dds, being backed up by his friend. :ohnoes: I died. :evil: Best I stick to what I know, eh? :lol:

Furnace? You mean range, right? I am only in Lummy because the range in the castle kitchen supposedly burns things less, and I have access to the chest in the basement.
