I have been receiving a handful of private messages asking me where IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve been and why I havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t updated my pet project lately. There was the idea I got banned, for having the word, ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅdroolÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

There are 2 ways you can get another lyre: - 1. The most common method is to cut a branch from a swaying tree and whittle it to an unstrung lyre and buy a golden wool from Lalli the troll for 1,000 gp and spin it to a lyre string. 2. Kill the civillians in Rellekka for fully strung lyres. Do note that it is an uncommon drop.

Pardon me for saying but there's your reason why your dad's account got banned. Even you referred his character as limp instead of lim. Hence, it is not difficult to surmise why Jagex would view it as limp-arse rather lim-parse. I don't mean to sound callous but any account that has an offensive word in it, no matter how remote, is doomed for banning from the very beginning and that includes your dad. I believe it would have dawned to him during the creation of the account, there was a certain risk that the name limparse might be misconstrued as something negative but your dad still went ahead and tried his luck. 10 months later, he got the final verdict. All I can say is, if the name sounds distasteful, donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t use it, even though it isnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t offensive in another language. You will end up frustrated when the law catches up with you and you would have wasted all your effort.

You want to know what's funny and ironic? Not too long ago, there are actually people saying that there are too many updates. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

You can harvest a maximum of 3 cactus spines from a fully grown cactus tree and they will regrow over time. These spines are used as payment to the gardener to look after the growth of yew tree saplings and also for making the weapon poison (+) potion.

Steps to obtain more than one gauntlet: - Prerequisites: - This method requires you to complete recruiment drive so you may respawn at Falador when you die and also digsite quest. You need to know where to find Dimintheis (east Varrock) because he will return the gauntlets to you if you should loose them and also the brother that is found at the chasm mines north of Al Kharid, who will enchant your gauntlets to goldsmithing ones. The following steps assumes that you have a cooking gauntlets and you need to obtain the goldsmithing gauntlets. 1. Obtain 4 vials of nitroglycerin from the digsite. 2. Bring 3 dragon weapons together with the gauntlet to the chasm mine and make sure you are within the vicinity of the brother (he is known as, 'Man') 3. Make sure you are not skulled and drop the nitroglycerin until you die. Each nitroglycerin incurs 25 damage. You will retain all your 3 dragon weapons but your gauntlet will be dropped. 4. As soon as you respawn in Falador, quickly run to the bank and withdraw Varrock teleport runes, ring of dueling and 25,000 gp. 5. Teleport to Varrock and run to Dimintheis and obtain another pair of gauntlets. 6. Using the ring of dueling, teleport to Al Kharid dueling arena and quickly run towards the chasm mines. 7. Your previous gauntlet will still be on the ground but instead of trying to pick it up, talk to the brother and enchant the cooking gauntlets to goldsmithing ones. 8. Pick up your previous gauntlet and voila! 2 gauntlets! Now the condition is, you CANNOT have 2 different kind of gauntlets in the bank because if you do, whenever you log off and log back in, you will retain only 1 gauntlet, the one you just enchanted. So decide which gauntlet you want to stick with and pay another 25,000 gp to turn the other pair to the pair you want to keep. Remember, if you ever decide to enchant your gauntlet to another, you have to do both before logging off.

My speculations: - Level 1 clues Beanie Level 2 clues Earflap caps Level 3 clues Armadyl armour set Zaros armour set Cork hats If we are really, REALLY lucky, level 4 clues with dragon trim armour. We can all dream :P.

I really can't wait for this! :shock: I am an avid treasure trail hunter and I must say the treasures are rigged :?. I have done hundreds of these clues and I have yet to get the black cavalier from the original release and the guilded set (except skirt) from the second release update. Still, I am very keen to see what's in store for the 3rd release update. Perhaps a new set of armour for each clue level. A Zaros set! A dragon trim set! Someone pass me a bib already!

My favourite is farming and here are my reasons why I love this skill: - ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Presents an entirely new way for players to develop this skill. Rather than having the player logged into the game and interact with the skill in order to gain experience, players can plant the seed/sapling, pay the gardener (if applicable) and log off while the plant still grows and ready for harvest a couple of hours later ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Opens up the brewing sub-skill that allows different types of player-made beverages ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Alternate method of obtaining second ingredients for potions and also herbs especially those uncommon ones like toadflax, snapdragon and torstol ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Introduced higher level poisons and anti-poisons that requires farming produce to create, e.g. coconut, poison ivy berry ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Most plants do not require tending if the gardener is paid to look after the patch so players can spend their time improving other skills while the plants grow on their own, e.g. use the herb, flower and allotment patches in Catherby, do some fishing and at the end of each loads, return to the patches to check if anything is diseased ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Exceptional experience points in the higher levels when planting trees (magic trees - 13k+ xp) and fruit trees (palm trees - 10k+) when all 4 patches are used ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Nothing beats having my own private magic tree in Falador ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ With leprechauns, the tools and composts can now be stored away from the bank to save space (I just wish they allow me to store a hatchet too since it is used to cut down trees) ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Amulet of nature is an excellent way to check plants that are out of the way, e.g. nightshade, calquat, patches in Etceteria ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Farming can be further expanded to cater other plants/trees like potato cactus, mahogany and teak trees, grapes, snape grass, snake weed, rougeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s purse, etc. ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Seeds are easy to obtain especially from master farmers and with a decent thieving level, you can single-click steal seeds to your heartÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s content 'Nuff said!

*Sigh* I dropped something when I came into this thread, my jaw! I remember vividly a couple of years back when P2P was introduced, the updates were irregular and people were complaining that they are paying 5 bucks a month for just having sound effects. Then came RS2 and before you know it, weekly updates have been introduced. I just cannot believe the day came where people actually complain about updates being too regular. Personally, I am happy with regular updates since it adds variety to the game. I agree that there may be some weak updates in the past, at least appreciate the crewsÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ effort in putting up the content rather than getting nothing at all. Furthermore, contribute some ideas on what you want added in the game. I see many people who will keep complaining but never offer suggestions and recommendations. Things I hope to see in the game: - Keldagrim - This is a big city with nothing to show for it. The only thing of interest there is the blast furnace and the brewery. Other than that, the coal deposits there are a disgrace compared to the minersÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ guild. Dwarves are known for their keenness is jewelry and mining prowess. So there should be more mining areas with more gem rocks. Have a special area strewn with mineral veins and make this place a minersÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ haven with nearby furnaces and anvils. Haunted mine - This is a pretty good place to mine especially if you want to mine adamantite ore. Unfortunately, they made the place too far to access and when you reach the mine, you have to go through a rather annoying gauntlet to obtain a glowing fungus to light the mining area. I was overjoyed when the mining hat was introduced thinking that now my light source would not be extinguish when I fall down the shaft. It was short-lived, the mining hat got nerved. ItÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s already a far walk from the bank to the mines, so allow those with the mining hats to access the mining area without the need of the glowing fungus. Honestly, the haunted mine pales when compared to other adamantite mines like desert mining camp (Al Kharid) and Isafdar (Lletya), both close to a teleport areas to the bank. Tirannwn - This land of the elves has a lot of potential with a malevolent race. I cannot believe that these elves were created as a means to an end for the Underground Pass quest. Prifddinas is still not open to public and I am sure there are stories to be told. If and when the city opens, there should be more crystal items. Perhaps players are taught the skill to make different types of weapon/armour just by resonating the proper tune. And elves are known for their archery and agility with their affinity for nature. With that in mind, there should be an archery arena where budding archers can train in that skill. An agility course for high levels can be put in place where experience gains is high and the damage incurred from a fall is equally matching. Lastly, introduce various fruit orchards in the area that are ready for plucking that can be used for farming payments. Mogre City - We have Gu'Tanoth, Ogre city. Now there should be a Mogre city that is under the sea. More sea creatures with different species of fishes that can only be obtained there. Want turtles and manta rays? Mogre city! Want giant squids, octopus, whales, gaint mudskippers?! Mogre city! Furthermore, there's only mudskipper hat and flippers now. Within the Mogre city, you will be able to obtain other apparels that when worn in full, will induce both enemies and friends into a barfing fit and cause them to loose 3 turns in combat due to dizzying nausea. It will be an instant hit. But more work for the programming crew to animate vomit for all the npcs. Just remember that Runescape is to be enjoyed. Take things at your pace and you won't get overwhelmed.

It is fairly obvious that most of the old-timers/high-levels tend to hope against hope there will be a suitable and challenging update every week. However, the majority of the gamers are newbies and these updates target these demographics rather than the senior citizens. Now I want to share my experience. I have created a mule account which I am now using to do the quests so I may obtain certain quests-only items to fill in the project I am maintaining. Let me tell you, some of these quests are frustratingly hard for my mule and I spend weeks training just to qualify the pre-requisites. However, it was childishly easy for my main. In conclusion, it's a matter of perspective. These weekly updates may be disappointing for you and me but to most people, it is something fun and new to do. Keep on playing the parts of the game that you enjoy most. For me, it's farming.

I have to agree with Barihawk. I come to see the General P2P as a place to share information and I am getting pretty sick about complaints since someone will definitely moan and whine like a bastich about one thing or another. I can take those silly, recycled, "Best/wost luck" or "Signs of being addicted to RS" and "Weird glitch" threads but please put all the grievances/whiny/moany threads in the rants section. If I am in a mood for these criticisms, I will go read them there. No offense to TJ but his posts have been heavy on the negative side. I remember vividly his protest about the cat training grounds which could have been totally avoided if he had more facts or at least tried it out himself instead of hearsay.

There are times I would gladly help out my fellow Runescapers but there are other times, I get so exasperated by the most lazy, not-bothered-to-help-yourself questions. Some of my pet peeve questions: - Q1: Where is ? Come on people, there is a world map. Please click on it and check it out. It is put there for a purpose. Q2: Questions pertaining to the Sudoku mini-game. It is difficult and lengthy to explain the game. When someone recommends you to search the web for, "Sudoku", don't whine about high levels being too proud and not willing to help. Q3: How do I get a , e.g. berserker ring, lava cape, barrow sets? The process to obtain these items cannot be worded through a chat screen. There are guides spanning pages detailing the entire process. When you are told to go to fansites and search for this info, that doesn't mean I am not helping you. Q4: You are a high level, you must be rich. Can I have some fr33 st00f, pl0x? Ok, first things first, what the hail does "fr33 st00f, plox" supposed to be? Some cheap leetspeek imitation? It's supposed to be, "|=.-33 57|_||_||=, |>73453". 'Nuff said. Secondly, I am not obligated to help you in any way just because you aren't bothered to at least attempt to earn the items that you want yourself. The fun of playing the game is attaining things on your own. I may be a high level but I don't own a dragon chain myself so don't expect me to give one to you. Q5: How do I teleport to elf city? This is where I get called a high level noob. There are certain areas that can only be accessed once you do a series of quests. When I tell you I can't help you verbally in doing the Underground pass, quit calling me a noob. *Sigh*. Q6: Series of quesitons: - Q: Where can I train where I can get good prayer XP also? A: Try Hill Giants Q: Where can I find those? A: Edgeville dungeon Q: Where is Edgeville? A: Please check world map Q: Just tell me plz A: GAH! It's NW of Varrock Q: Where is Varrock? A: GAH! CHOKE! GASP! Q: Is there any other faster way to get there? A: There is a dungeon entrance just west of Varrock before you cross the river. However, you need a bronze key to open the door first. Q: How do I get the bronze key? A: Well, you have to use the Edgeville entrance first to gain the key. Q: N00b, I will still be using the long way. A: Somebody please end me! So you see, sometimes it's not that the RS community is not helpful. I've done plenty of helping myself but on some days, I get those hair-ripping, nail-removing ignoramus that can drive me up the wall.
