  1. Inside the game of Soul Wars The map of Soul Wars (Inside the game) The battlefield is divided up into three main areas: * Avatar of Creation's Base o Players on the blue team will begin here. None of the locations in this area can be captured by the red team. * Avatar of Destruction's Base o Players on the red team will begin here. None of the locations in this area can be captured by the blue team. * Main Battlefield o There are a number of locations here, the most important of which are the Soul Obelisk and the two graveyards. o These can be captured by having a greater number of your own team within their bounds for a short period of time. o Jellies and pyrefiends can also be found wandering in the ruins around the battlefield. Once the game starts, a player will be brought here: To help players keep track of all of the useful information, there is a display in the top-right corner of the screen. * West Graveyard (left) - which team controls the graveyard (none, red, or blue) * Soul Obelisk (centre) - which team controls the obelisk (none, red, or blue) * East Graveyard (right) - which team controls the graveyard (none, red, or blue) * Avatar deaths - The number of times the avatar has been killed. * Avatar level - The current Slayer level of the avatar. Starts at 100. * Avatar health - The current health (Hitpoints) of the avatar. 100% is 1000 Hitpoints. * Time left - The time left for the game to finish. Each game lasts 20 minutes. After the game has started, a player should get one barricade and a full inventory of bandages so they can live longer in the game and be successful. * Bandage: Bandages will heal your health by 10% and restore your run energy by 50% * Barricade: Barricades can be used to stall your enemy * Explosive potion: Explosive Potions are a quick way of destroying a barricade in one hit. This is the Soul Obelisk. The main point of the game is to capture the Soul Obelisk and kill the Avatars. Without having control of the Soul Obelisk, players won't be able to weaken the Avatar's slayer level and kill it. Inside the game, a player can kill Pyrefiends and Jellies to obtain Soul Fragments. The number of Soul Fragments a player uses on the Soul Obelisk will drop the Avatar Level down by that number. If your team does not control the Soul Obelisk, then you will not be able to bring down the Avatar Level until your team gains control of the Soul Obelisk. - Jellies(level 78)- drop 2 Soul Fragments - Pyrefiends(level 42)- drop 1 Soul Fragment If a player happens to die during the minigame, the player will be brought to a graveyard that their team has control of. A player will have to wait 15 seconds in order to enter the game again.
  2. Getting to Soul Wars Soul Wars is located in the small, but beautiful town of Edgeville. In order to access Soul Wars, one must enter the green portal next to the 2 yew trees on the south part of Edgeville. Use one of the following to get to Soul Wars: » Using a Glory Amulet will take you to the middle of Edgeville » Using a Combat bracelet can teleport a player to the Monastery near Edgeville. » Using a Canoe from Lumbridge, Champions' Guild, or Barbarian Village. » Using the Edgeville Home Teleport from the Ancients Spellbook will take a player right next to Edgeville bank. » Skull sceptre can teleport a player inside Barbarian Village, just south of Edgeville, via the "Invoke" option. » Players can use the Grand Exchange to wilderness ditch. The Soul Wars Portal After going through the portal, the player will arrive at the Nomad's camp, where players can exchange Zeal points for rewards, learn how to play Soul Wars, or join a team to play Soul Wars. In order to join a game of Soul Wars, the player much choose the Red or Blue team to join the game. If there is a game going on, then the player must wait till it is over for a new game to start or wait till he gets inside the game. Games are 23 minutes long with a 3 minute interval between every new game. If a player join a team before 13 minutes, then the player will get no zeal for his participation in the game. Picture of the Soul Wars Waiting Rooms Requirements Soul Wars does not have any requirements to play but there are a few things that should be noted: -High combat levels are recommended; players will need to fight each other, familiars, and other monsters. -Players will be under attack by NPC's and opposing players, so I recommend a defense level of at least 50. -A high Slayer level would definitely help in order to kill the Avatar of Creation/Destruction who is level 525. Equipment Note: There are no capes, food, or any other non combat items allowed in this minigame. -Bring your best melee/range/mage equipment as there is no danger in this minigame. -This is a SAFE minigame. --However, if you are using range, you will not get your ammunition back unless you go to the Nomad and he will enchant your cape to pick up ammunition like Ava's accumulator only if you have completed Animal Magnetism.
  3. Falconboost's Guide to Soul Wars THE INDEX Post #1: The Soul Wars Index & Soul Wars Intro Post #2: Getting there, Requirements, & Equipment Post #3: Inside the Game of Soul Wars Post #4: Strategies & Tips Post #5: Sweet Victory (Spending the Zeal) Post #6: Falcon's Den Soul Wars is a members-only minigame that lasts 23 minutes. There are two teams, the red team and the blue team. In Soul Wars, the opposing teams compete against each other to collect soul fragments (dropped by Pyrefiends and Jellies), capture bases such as west graveyard, east graveyard, and the Soul Obelisk which is in the center of the Soul Wars game. In Soul Wars, a high slayer and combat level is recommended to play the game so a player won't die often and won't miss out of killing the Avatar to be triumphant. Soul Wars is a safe minigame so one should not be afraid of losing their items as they will be returned once they are dead. After obtaining zeal from a match, players can "cash-in" their zeal at a Nomad who will exchange it for combat stats and familiars. Soul Wars is now known as one of the best ways of raising your combat skills in P2P if the player gets an average of 3 zeal per game. There are 3 Official Soul War Worlds, W44,W143, & W145. By the end of this guide, you will learn how to be a legend at Soul Wars.
