I started playing RS when I was 35, I'm now 37. My kids got me hooked. I have quite a few RS friends of a similar age, even a husband and wife who play. But many who are alot younger. I treat them all the same and try not to let age be an issue. RS appeals to all ages, and they play it in thier own way.

Thanks guys for your encouragment. Got 98 on Saturday, down to my last 4K maples. Should get 99 today, although Ill need to sell some more pots to buy the cape!!! 99 Firemaking and Bust (I am bust, no cash left, lol) :?

Last November I achieved my first skill cape for Fletching. Since then I have been working on getting all my skills over 70 (acheived January 07). This means that I have been spreading my time between skills and moving quite quickly up the high scores. 2 weeks ago I thought it was high time I trimmed my skill cape and decided to concentrate on one skill only (Firemaking). I read a post by Empor1 which inspired me to buy a ton of logs and burn!!! I have been really suprised how quickly the levels go by when concentrating on one skill. With fletching you are making cash at the same time. But with FM its very focused. I was 85 Firemaking when I started and am now 98. :D Some pics below of the last 4 lvls 95 Firemaking (03/16/07) 96 Firemaking (03/20/07) [/img] 97 Firemaking - got this yesterday (03/22/07) I got enough cash to get to lvl 98 but then will have to sell some stuff for the last 9K maples. Still its only money. :? Yay Lvl 98 (Saturday 03/24/07) Only 4K Maples to go!!! Should get 99 Today!!! :D :D
