I typically go blindly through Facebook and when I get a friend request I immediately click accept. Too bad I didn't realize until after I clicked accept that it's my psycho ex... :? Oh and Facebook is being glitchy as always so the remove friend thing isn't working. I believe this is the part that I say "fml" :x
  2. This is a much harder goal than just a 99 stat or maxed combat, good luck with it. Those champion scrolls are going to take you forever lol
  3. My only problem with the WOW article is when he says the graphics in WOW win in all accounts... I guess he never compared RSHD textures to some of the flat pentagons of WOW. Take a look at their trees too... bleh :| The only way they're better is somehow you get a better viewing aspect in WOW, stuff is bigger but at the same time the distance you can see is greater. This could be done in RuneScape, but it would mean longer loading times when moving to a new section of the world.
  4. You could also try out clean installing Windows 7, it'll be like installing XP but you won't have nearly as many driver issues. As for just popping in the XP cd, beforehand you'll want to be sure to find the XP drivers for your network card. If you reformat and XP doesn't have a driver that can run your internet... you're in trouble. Also I don't know if XP will even be able to wipe a Vista drive, I've heard reports of it just refusing for some unknown reason.
  5. It should work, if of course you can find a buyer.
  6. I can't comment on nVidia cards but I will say that if you're looking into buying a new graphics card, I've recommend this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814125244 I have it one of my older computers (heavily upgraded Dell Dimension 8400) and it runs amazingly. People complain about fan noise, but I've never heard a thing. Also just max out the RAM to whatever your computer can hold. 4GB if you have 32bit Vista, or maybe more if you have 64bit Vista and your motherboard can handle it all, but 4GB is usually more than enough.
  7. I only download stuff that I already have on vinyl. Records are no use for me since I have an iPod now (but I keep all the records because when it comes right down to it... you just can't beat the sound of vinyl).
  8. Depends on the kind of American comedy. Check out our stand up, some of it is really good. Demetri Martin, Jeff Dunham. Jon Stuart is pretty good too. You're probably thinking of stuff like American Pie and Scary Movie, which really does suck. And American kids are whiney because stupid parents give them everything they want, and think they're on top of the world. Then when other people in life don't give them the same pushoverism, that's when we get whiners. Wow I should go thank my parents, growing up I didn't get [cabbage], so going out into the world I didn't expect to get anything (nothing is free, you need to earn it, and I'm fine with that). Well, I hate obnoxious people and people that mess up things in band on purpose, makes me wanna slap them (which actually I can this year being a Section Leader... awesome!). Also I hate the people that say they're bisexual or gay simply for attention (they're usually loud and irritating, and not actually what they say they are). They simply give the real homosexuals a bad name. Oh and one of my ex-girlfriends just really pisses me off. I used to have a lot of really good reasons for it, but now it seems to have melted into pure anger. If you all knew her you'd hate her too. EDIT: I hate Autotune too, if you can't sing the note, don't freaking try. It sounds like crap.
  9. I agree, people do not give them enough credit for all the work they do. But also, bugs can be fun sometimes (like how for almost a month all the bridges in HD were invisible). Also, wouldn't this thread go in rants technically?
  10. Well the Pasty part came from the fact that I'm so white and pale (not by choice mind you, just stupid genetics... tanning impossible for me). The Ganster part was strange, PastyGangsta was apparently already in use by some fool who never did anything with the account (he's not on the highscores, never was, and I've never seen or heard of him in 7 years of playing). So I added 'er' instead of 'a' and dropped the second g because at first glance, you don't notice there's a letter missing. Idk why I wanted 'Gangsta' in my name... seemed like a good idea at the time I guess? If they ever come out with the name changes hopefully I can change it to "PastryGangsta." Everyone in BSC calls me Pastry anyway, so why not?
  11. Wow that looks bad... Has anything been updated recently (firmware, drivers, etc)?
  12. 1. Invent something technologically revolutionary (or work on a team of people at MS or Intel that do). 2. Travel to Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. 3. Find somebody that isn't insane or annoying (much harder than you would think) 4. See Boston live in concert (Brad Delp is dead so that one's out...) 5. See The Rolling Stones live (I'll have to sell my house for tickets  )
  13. I can do Elmer Fudd and Sean Connery. I wish I was able to just change my accent without warning like Johnny Dep, he's crazy (watch the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory then Pirates of the Carribean, it's stunning).

What do you have against Jello? Lmao bad choice of words... If it's a living animal I'm probably not going to eat it. Dead is fine, Jell-O is awesome.
  15. That depends whether the school computers have enough RAM to run the JavaVM all the time while doing other things (like using IE which also consumes more RAM). Then they have to either upgrade each computer or just stick to Word. Disclaimer: I can't remember if OO launches the full Java program or just bits and pieces, but I do know that's what most of the software is coded in.

Food is amazing, if it's not still moving 9 times out of 10 I'll enjoy eating it.
  17. My opinion on "Luck Money"... Well, I wish I had some luck, and I wish I had some money. Combining both would be awesome. :
  18. It's entirely possible, but if you have the physical computing ability and resources to stay with traditional programs, I would. Interesting inquiry though, and it seems that list is pretty much complete for everything I use my computer for anyway.
  19. RuneScape. OT: But really I'd love to keep up with playing the trumpet. I love it and I'm not bad, but I'll certainly be better after 10,000 hours. I'll even have time to play other things like the trombone, tuba, french horn, piccolo trumpet, and the saxaphone.

Today I got [bleep]ed at by 2 female seniors who graduated last year and left the band, and also left all their crap behind in the band room... all of sudden they want it and start blaming me that they can't find it. I'm an officer, and I and the other officers were instructed by the director to throw any personal items from last year away, clothing and other crap does not belong there anymore. The 2 that graduated were the 2 drum majors from last year, and although they had the job did not command any authority, basically they just sucked, and they still think they're in charge. Normally I would just tell them to get over themselves and get out of the band room, you don't belong here, but I dated one of them all last year... Makes crap complicated. Yeah, sorry for the rant, but that was my day. And on Monday it'll get worse because they're coming in to get their things, which I'm pretty sure have been trashed because it was garbage anyway. -.-
  21. Looks nice, amazing camera, and no keyboard (always thought they were stupid on a phone, just a personal thing I guess)
  22. Really hugging isn't that big of a deal... now the full-out sex in the hallways is a problem... My school is uh... interesting... :|
  23. If they can't get the ruling overturned MS will have to pull all XML-related things from their software... the only advantage of that being we would all have .doc again instead of that .docx stuff (which is like impossible to open at any school or public building in America, the computers aren't updated enough... -.- ).
  24. [hide=][/hide] Nah, really I'm skinny and moderately athletic. I'm one of those people that can just eat and eat and never gain weight. My Mom hates that I keep getting taller and not rounder, it's getting hard to find jeans in the right size. :|
  25. Yea? Well I use an exercise ball. It's supposed to aid my posture, but I'm not so sure it's working. It does make music more fun, though. Beat that. Sounds like fun
