  1. Happy birthday :D

  2. I open up iTunes (soon to be WMP12 under Windows 7, iTunes is horrid and my iPod broke anyway) and listen to that. RuneScape sound effects stay on though, can really add something to the game.
  3. Boston is my favourite, the rest don't have any particular order but they are: The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, Uriah Heep, Hootie & the Blowfish, AC/DC, Aerosmith, and basically any rock. Come to think of it I'll listen to anything except screamo and newer rap (Run DMC is great, Lil' Wayne...)
  4. Uhm then what is the point of playing ONLINE? - We're moving to a game where everything is single player... How people choose to make their money is their own choice, this is an MMORPG after all... there are thousands of people who are going to do what they please anyway. However, I do agree the next set of high-level armour should be made untradable. As a merchant I can right now buy whatever armour I feel like, and look exactly like the guy who worked his [posterior] off to get it himself. Doesn't seem right to me (which is why I don't, but you get the idea). If somebody is willing to kill themselves for a set of digital object, they should at least be able to say "Hey I EARNED this!" And if you don't want to work for it, then stick to the armour already available, I hear GWD gear is fantastic. The "rares" market is Jagex's own fault, and only they can fix it. They are not a large part of the game, they shouldn't even exist to begin with, Jagex should at least start making game decisions and NOT take rares into account in any way. And, I think that's it. EDIT: Not all merchants are pigs by the way, I consider myself human.
  5. Thanks very much (:

  6. Happy Birthday to you too, even if it is a little late :)

  7. For an antivirus check out Microsoft Security Essentials. Always does the job for me, never bothers me unless something is actually wrong (so not too often) and it's very lightweight. Best of all, it's free. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ Of course before you install anything, run the Decrapifier first. It will clean out any crapware which comes preinstalled on your Dell, and contains useful information about each program it marks as junk (in case you disagree or have no clue what something does). Also free. http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/ As for your music, copy your entire music folder to the desktop, install 7Zip (free as well), and compress the heck out of it into a .7z file. You'll need to install 7Zip on your other computer as well to decompress everything, but it'll make the file transfer go faster. To actually transfer the file, look into a transfer cable or just a large flash drive (1.5k songs is about 6GB I think). http://www.7-zip.org/ Actually the 7Zip program contains an option to split the compressed file into pieces designed for floppies (bad choice), CD's, or DVD's. So, if you own a CD or DVD burner you could do that, burn the files to discs, and transfer them that way to save buying a cable. Over all, good luck, and have fun with that quad core CPU. It's ridiculous.
  8. *trolls* Actually, this makes me want to play Brawl... but I don't own it. :(
  9. bird Surfin' bird Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb... [wtf noises]... aaah! Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-p a-pa-pa- Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-p a-ooma-mow-mow Papa-ooma-mow-mow
  10. I've just installed Windows 7 Professional the other week and I have to say I'm highly impressed. Downloaded MSE too and so far have had absolutely none of the problems I've had with XP or Vista (XP reinstalls would never recognize my harddrive, since it didn't know what "SATA" is, and Vista was just annoying). Recognized all my hardware immediately, no installation errors, and the only driver I had to obtain manually was Catalyst for my graphics card, took all of 30 seconds to find. Built in firewall is pretty effective too, much better than XP. Can't wait till my new monitor arrives next week, I'll be able to experience everything for the first time in HD. EDIT: For those who haven't tried the free MSE I'd recommend it, find it here: http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ It's quickly becoming one of the top ranked free Anti-Virus programs out there.
  11. Can't wait to see whats cooking at Jagex which would require a ton of user specs. Maybe they could fix the problem on Firefox where the resizeable game window is 3 pixels larger (on each side) than it should be (resulting in scroll bars) while they're at it.
  12. I'm liking this new forum, so much more inviting. Some looks really odd due to their size and the width of columns, but I'm sure things will be tweaked as time goes on. Nice to see Mr. Green is still around too
