Ministry's Al Jourgensen may be credited with founding the industrial metal music scene, but for those really in the know, there is no bigger fan when it comes to hockey, and in particular, his hometown team, the Chicago Blackhawks. In fact, Jourgensen loves the Blackhawks so much, last year he gifted the team with a new theme song, "Keys To The City."

With the Blackhawks in the NHL Playoffs, Jourgensen has been applying his wit and his encyclopedic knowledge of the sport, the players and the politics to his own talk radio show, "Uncle Al's Puck Talk," heard on WXRK-FM's (104.9) Stone & Double T's show every Wednesday at 5:00PM Eastern and streamed at WXRX.com.

To celebrate the Blackhawks' recent play-off victory against the Vancouver Canucks, and for the first time since the show's inception, Al will be taking listener calls on tomorrow's show (Wednesday, May 13) - only those calls about hockey, nothing music related. So, tomorrow, starting at 5PM/Eastern, 4PM/Central, 3PM/Mountain, 2PM/Pacific, pick up the phone and dial 815.874.2104 and talk hockey with Uncle Al.

In addition to his "Uncle Al Hockey Talk" show, Jourgensen sees the release of Adios ...Puta Madres, a double-DVD set that documents the band's 2008 final world tour, "C U LaTouR," in stores May 26. Adios...Puta Matres features 15 live performance tracks and a 45-minute on-the-road "rockumentary" that follows the band from rehearsals all the way to their final shows in Europe.

I never expected Jourgensen to start a hockey talk show. Right now I'm listening to his show, he's pretty decent on the air.

    I'll agree on the Simpsons.

I think that they either need to go back to their roots, or just stop. I preferred the Homer that tried to make some effort with his kids at times, and the one that still strangled Bart, sure its child abuse, but its friggin' T.V. Homer needs to start strangling Bart more, I can't recall the last time when he did it.

In a way, the new seasons kinda suck a bit. But if you think about it carefully, its hard to remain fresh while being on the air for 20 years. Most shows go bad after season 6 and its nice to hear the Simpsons is still trying to toy with new ideas without selling out like Family Guy after season 4.

Yeah, its good they are still trying, but really, theres a point where you have to learn to give up.

I'd be happy for them to stop the Simpsons for awhile and go back to Futurama, that show had potential, but it ended too soon.

I agree that there is a point where shows have to be put down (Greg's Anatomy for example), but I still think The Simpsons have enough material to keep going for another season or two. To be honest, I never cared much about Futurama, even though I found plenty of great gags.

Not liking Bioshock is unnacceptable and in the afterlife he will not be rewarded with Jesus cookies.

Not everyone can like a game, but I want to know why. Of course I don;t need to know, but the majority of reviews have been very positive. I just want to know what specifically he doesn't like about it.

And btw, I can't wait a whole week.

He doesn't like the game, period. Do you really have to go ape over someone not liking Bioshock? Not everyone is going to like the same stuff, even if its getting positive reviews. So what if I think The Suffering is a scarier game than F.E.A.R or Bioshock? My advice: just let it go. People aren't gonna like the same things you will.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this has been cancelled, but its still needs to be put down if so:

  5. The Suffering is the scariest game out there. 'Nuff said.

You haven't played many horror games.

I mostly played Thing, Bioshock (wouldn't consider it "horror" though), F.E.A.R 1 and 2, Doom 1 and 3, Condemned, and a couple others I haven't mentioned. The only two games that really creeped me out was Thing and the Suffering

You've played BioShock, Condemned, AND F.E.A.R., and you think The Thing and The Suffering was scarier? Blasphemy!

Note that I'm not calling games with the best graphics "scary".
