  1. There were 3 rule switchers, lol.

Lol @ Wisely staking and taking your cash, but oh well :( Gl irl.

    ....What is that?

He means he encountered 3 ppl switching the rules of the stake an in attempt to scam. Kind of like how you use to scam with the trade screen, only there may or may not be a glitch involved with this one.

  2. Bots are good and bad. Bad for moneymaking methods, but good for training using raw resources.

If every bot in Runescape was smited and Jagex found a full-proof way to immediately detect any and all bots thenceforth, cutting yews/magics and fishing sharks would still be horrible money.

The best "low-level" moneymaking methods in Runescape can be done by the second day of an account's creation. By the time a player got the woodcutting level for magics, a smarter player would have made tens of millions with relative ease.

If WCing was still horrible money, then no one would do it. There has to be a reasonable rate of income for any legit player to do it, or else no more logs in market, and the price would get higher and higher until there's enough profit for some people to decide it could be worthwhile to do. ATM literally no actual player is spending times cutting yews. There would be pretty much no more logs coming in if every bot was banned.

  3. Chaos dwarf encampment. You might lose a little bit of money though if you're unlucky.

    And dung.

do you mean the chaos dwarves at the battlefield? can i even safespot those?

You have to be kind of carefull, but you can pray against the cannoneers and safespot the other dwarfs. Eventually they'll lose aggression and you can kill any of them effortlessly.

Blue dragons are also easily safespotable, but have relatively high mage def but you won't lose very much.

oh contrare my friend, blue dragons actually have a low mage defence even though they are a leather dragon.

I had trouble hitting greens with ahrims+surge+stream+c staff lol.

Have you ever tried maging blues? if not u should, they have lower mage defence than other leathers for some reason.

I actually haven't, but that would seem incredibly odd.

I dont know why but i started maging them from 85 to 90 mage just for the fun of it (and for the d bones) and i was hitting them fairly often.

what spells/gear should i use at blue drags? i'll prolly be maging them at the membs dungeon once i get a few more agility levels :P

I wore Ahrims Top/Bottom, Farseer helm, Glory, Staff of Light, Zamorak Cape (from Mage Arena), Infinity/Mystic Boots, Barrows Glves, Unholy book, Seers Ring. Im not sure what spell to use as i used water surge and still managed to break even on the hides/bones/drops.

You should use an arc stream too.

Agree'd, only reason i didnt use one at the time as dung hadnt been released yet.

Just felt like adding to one of the longest quote chains I've ever seen.

haha at this rate its going to be the never ending quote chain

Can we just turn this into a quote chain thread?

Just wanted to get my name on here...

Lol i think this is the longest quote chain i've seen since i joined these forums :P

Agreed. And just remembered that blue dragons are now swarmed with botters, so it might not be the best anymore. And the first post doesn't even fit anymore lol.

I had trouble hitting greens with ahrims+surge+stream+c staff and range+void was much faster.

  8. He's probably right.

Stream is higher than ahrim robetop (1.8 atm) http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee376/master_of_rapier/arstream1.jpg

but doesn't prot over ahrim bottom (3m) http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee376/master_of_rapier/arcstream2.jpg

    price is probably 2-3m.

Bought a d plate to test staff, and c staff even prot over 10m item. http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee376/master_of_rapier/cstaffprice.jpg

It didn't prot over claws though. forgot pic...10-21m.

He was probably correct about the prices, so far everything is true.

  9. Also, they just switch to range themselves?

This leads to the question-- under such conditions, does mage or range have better DPS?

With a very limited number of hit points the range specs with darkbow+morrigants would make range superior, regardless of DPS calculations. If the person happened to already use an SOL spec, morrigan/hand cannon/karils would have higher dps in a no arm fight.

EDIT: If all styles were allowed i don't see what's stopping a person that was hit by seercull from just claw specing either, if melee wasn't allowed then there's no reason someone would use an SOL spec anyway.

  10. A range spec that does damage like morrigans or even the dark bow would most likely be more usefull in winning a duel than a seercull spec.SOL only affects melee, and no one smart would waste their spec bar with SOL if range was allowed, considering the spec is useless against range attacks.

Also, they just switch to range themselves?

  11. How's it laggy? PVP worlds were 10x more laggy than the wild on a normal world. Even killing people in the wild on w60 today was waaay less lag than pvp worlds had.

You can find the right balance of people if you go to the right worlds.

  12. They are more worth it for the $ spent and you can make the $ back. Same with barrage but it isn't direct money back. The money back from Barrages is more free time after done with everything to make $ back.

I'm 99% sure you are still going to lose money even if you burst.

  13. I wouldn't try anticipating the special and trying to switch prays. If you get down to that low hp to where someone is trying to spec you're better of eating and trying to survive the KO rather than switching pray. The best option would be to activate disruption shield if possible and than eat up if you ever get in that situation.

  14. Since you plan on burning them anyway, there's a nice patch of like 5 yews somewhere in Isfador(elf place, think its east of tyras not sure). No where to bank, but you can just burn the logs you cut immediately, if your original plan was to cut logs and then burn them anyway. You will literally find no one ever there.
