Woodcutting issues.
He is going for money, not exp. And I think that the fletching/stringing would net you money faster. Just trade your yew logs for yew long (u) and string them. I think you can string 2-3k bows and hour, but I doubt you can cut that many yews in an hour. I am going for money, although the exp in magic would be nice too, as I am currently only level 71, and am aiming for level 85 :(. I will try the fletching/stringing method as it sounds the most efficient so far. To LJoker: I'll try not to high alch my Dragon Axe :D. I'm usually very careful about what I Alch, but I'll keep it in the bank anyway just to make sure I don't waste 3.2m :D. Thanks to everybody for the replies so far, you've all been great.

The best and worst band names ever
Bad: Engelbert Humperdinck (Humperbert Engeldinck? Dinkelbert Humpereng? Bertengel Dinckhumper? Berthumper Engeldinck?) I know it's not his real name, but why choose THAT as a stage name? Limp Bizkit: Edible confectionary with an injury? Good: Trivium, because it's got meaning behind it. From Wikipedia: In medieval universities, the trivium comprised the three subjects taught first: grammar, logic, and rhetoric. The "trivium" is the theory of education, or the beginning of liberal arts. Children of Bodom - Based around the Lake Bodom murders, they also have a song named "Lake Bodom" Pantera - Means "panther" in another language, can't remember which. Lamb of God - This obviously has some religious meaning. (I'm gonna make a tribute band named "Mutton of Messiah" :D.)

Woodcutting issues.
That sounds like quite a good idea. Although it will get me XP for two skills, it is also more time consuming as I have to cut 15k logs, fletch 10k into bows, then string the bows. I am very proud of my 2k-per-hour stringing abilities, but the sooner I obtain the GP, the better. I'm not being lazy about the whole process of stringing and fletching the bows, as I know some people are, and I would really like the fletching XP, but the quicker I get back my items, the better, and then maybe I can really focus on my goal of 99 fletching.

Thanks for the advice. I think it's gonna be yews for me then :D. Any suggestions of where to cut the yews? I've heard that the Gnome Stronghold is pretty good. And should I also fletch them into Yew Long (u)'s so I can reach my goal of 99 fletching?

Thanks, i'll wait for a few more replies though just to see what other people think. Bear in mind that this is 20k yews VS 6k magics. EDIT: <<<<< Chicken Feather?

And also, when I reach the halfway mark, should I: Buy a Dragon Axe, cut the remaining logs I need to cut, and then sell the Dragon axe?

Woodcutting issues.
I have been struggling with ways to make money, but I have recently decided that I am going to woodcut. For the 6m GP I need, I need to cut around 20k Yews or 6k Magics. Cutting the yews should get me to level 89, and cutting the magics will get me to level 84. (All hail Tip.It Skill Planners :). Which logs would be quicker to cut for my 6m cash goal?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Here are 2 theories I have: This one comes from the letter Harry recieves from inside the fake Horcrux: "To the Dark Lord, I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in the hope that when you meet your match, you will be mortal once more. R.A.B" Now... Interesting... R.A.B... Regalus A Black maybe? Sirius' brother, who was killed for BETRAYING VOLDEMORT... just thought I'd point that out. Secondly, this one is part of a conversation between Hagrid and Harry, telling you about events Hagrid has heard about, and also about what Snape says to Harry in the chapter "Flight of the Prince". Firstly, Hagrid and Harry: Hagrid is telling harry about a conversation between Dumbledore and Snape. Snape appears to be telling Dumbledore that "he wouldn't do it". Secondly, Snape and Harry: Harry calls Snape a coward, and snape replies with "How dare you call me a coward!" My theory for this is that Snape killed Dumbledore because Dumbledore told him to do it, hence the argument between the two that Hagrid recalls hearing. I think Dumbledore wants Snape to kill him to save Harry and quite possibly Malfoy too, as I think Snape does not work for Voldemort. Snape is a spy for Dumbledore, Snape told him the plan, Dumbledore says to kill him, because that is was the Death Eaters invade Hogwarts for. Voldemort wanted Malfoy to kill Dumbledore, otherwise he would kill Malfoy's family. Now, seeing as Dumbledore is the most unselfish person in the world, I think Dumbledore died to save Harry, Malfoy and his family, and to stop the attack on Hogwarts by letting them do what they came to do. Which was kill him. Anyone agree?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Dumbledore is dead. Harry was frozen with the charm, Snape used the Avada Kedavra on Dumbledore, which is a KILLING CURSE! Only harry has ever survived it. And when Dumbledore fell from the castle, the spell wore off. Dumbledore couldn't have un-frozen him because Malfoy made him lose his wand with the expelliarmus spell. I know some spells can be cast without a wand, but they're usually barriers of some sort, such as the one Dumbledore brought down so he and Harry could enter Hogwarts whilst on the brooms

Help me play guitar
I've taught myself for 2 years now... I can play some pretty complex solo's, the first thing I ever learnt is chords. Just simple Major chords like A and E. Learn to play either chord in a simple rhythm until you're confident you can remember the fretting for the chord, then do the same with the other chord. Once you can play the 2 chords to a simple beat and know the frets for the chords very well, learn to switch between the 2 chords. Once you can switch between the 2 chords perfectly in time to a simple beat, experiment with more difficult chords, such as G or C, or if you're feeling confident, try chords such as G7 and Dm and other comlex open chords. Once you feel you can play open chords confidently, learn bar chords. These are chords played higher up the fretboard whilst "barring" a certain fret with your first finger to act as what would be an open string when playing an open chord. A good example is G7, but this can also be played as an open chord. Once you feel you can play bar chords and open chords confidently to a simple beat, try more complex rhythms. All this is pretty much what I did to learn about rhythm guitar. For lead, learn the techniques first, not the actual songs you would like to learn. Techniques such as pull-offs, hammer-ons, bends, pre-bends, alternate picking, tremolo's and pinch harmonics are possibly the most used techniques, but you can also use these in chords, although to a lesser extent. Once you have learnt these, try to learn very simple songs, I won't give examples as I don't know what type of music you like. Just pick one that sounds easy to you, and find the tablature or notation for it. I personally use http://www.ultimate-guitar.com to find my tablature. Once you have learnt a few simple songs, try to find the notation or tablature for a blues or pentatonic scale and learn that. Scales are quite often played on all 6 strings, and can be played with alternate picking. Mess around with these... Use hammer-ons, pull-offs, bend the strings a little. Solo's are normally based around a certain scale depending on the key of the song. Once you can confidently play a few scales at a decent speed, (guitar isn't about speed, but technique, but if you want to be able to play fast, feel free), learn some more complex songs of your choice. You should also learn to play mixolydian modes and arpeggio's, as these are quite commonly used to write solo's around. There are MANY types of tuning for your guitar too, the most common is the Standard E tuning. The tuning for the strings is EADGBE, that's low to high. You can also use tunings such as Open E, where if you play all the strings, you will hear an E chord... The action of your guitar may also depend on your progress. The Action is the gap between the string and the fretboard, the lower the better. Usually. Too low and you may fret the string too quick and by the time you have picked the string you may have moved onto another fret. Most guitarists often have a unique style, whereas some are influenced by other guitarists and automatically play like them. I pick like Jason Becker, but move my left hand like Dimebag Darrel. Also, if you're playing electric guitar, and have an amp, play around with the treble and bass settings. If you have something like a 30 watt Marshall Amp, then play around with the delay and reverb. You can also use Wah-Pedals to get different effects, or get an effects processor which gives you a huge range of effects, such as sound gates, reverb, amp-type, distortion, clean... Just a lot. Remember to learn guitar theory such as the Circle of Fifths... But lets try not to go into too much detail! Don't be afraid to learn new things, you won't improve if you don't push yourself.

what is your favorite skill and why
Fletching, because it's quick and easy levelling. Currently level 94. I can also string 2k bows per hour.

Archive - Introduce Yourself
Hey everyone, I'm... Hey! I don't need to tell you! If you move your eyes around 4 centimeters to the left of this post, you will quite possibly find my name :D. In Runescape, I quite enjoy: Fletching, Crafting, occasional Barrowing, reporting wrong-doers, talking with my friends and doing quests! When I am not logged into the world of Runescape, I enjoy: Playing guitar, listening to my iPod, talking with my friends, going places with my friends, playing various games consoles (namely my friends new Playstation 3! Resistance: Fall of Man!), reading the "Wheel of Time" books, and annoying my sister! In the future, I hope I can be an active member of the Tip.It forums and contribute to the positive atmosphere I have already encountered on the forums!
