  1. Yes pepsi, when they talk, in their voice. I always notice it
  2. ... I didnt pay much attention to people smiling until this past year, and now I am aware of expressions quite often. I hear people smile when I talk to them on the phone. I tell people to smile to lighten up if I care to alter their moods. "You're missing something." "What?" (obnoxiously) "YO SMILE!" It works, for reals.
  3. Really, can't you guys hear it in a person's voice when they're smiling? I know I mix up the words blind and deaf because I did it once when I was tired and can't get past it, but I'm serious. I can hear people smile over the phone or in songs or whatever. For example, the song "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" by Mike Posner, I hear that he smiles while he's singing. And I saw it in AHH WHAT BOOK hmm... That war one I read, WWII, Billy Pilgrim... Oh no, Slaughterhouse-Five wasn't it, it was a book I was reading outside of school that only teen girls would read. But seriously. I'm not the only one.
  4. You guys can hear smiles, right?
  5. I prefer to be around people who shower, yes, especially if I'm in very close vicinity to them for extended periods of time. And I've totally employed the whole I'll delete you on Facebook deal, it's highly amusing. Awkward once though when I went to add the guy back. I ended up deleting him again, and then when I was creeping him months later just to make sure his life sucks I accidentally added him since all I have to do is confirm, since he never deleted me.
  6. It's a personal preference I suppose, but society may not take it well. Two months from today (May 16) I will be 18 years old, and three months from today I'll be moving into my dorm.
  7. I got rid of all of my playlists (except "Car", last summer <3) and now I've created two playlists: Chronic [developmentally delayed]itis, which contains pop/rap/hip hop music, containing 32 songs, and All ninjas hate fruit, which has rock and the like, containing 62 songs. Loverly!
  8. Hmm.
  9. I probably shouldn't be wrestling the troll in the mainstream thread in OT, but it entertains my simple little mind.
  10. The argument presented here defines well why I have so much top-40 pop music on my iPod. Easy to listen to, fun in the car with friends, and catchy. As for elitist music attitude/troll things going on here, I don't find any benefit in thinking my music tastes are superior to those of anyone else. As a matter of fact, I feel the same about my food tastes and clothing tastes; the combination of my opinions makes me myself, even if I have a lot of similarities with other people. We're all biologically very similar, and it's only natural that many of us would have similar tastes. We also like to fit in, which is why a lot of people follow mainstream tastes and pop culture. tl;dr second part: I listen to pop music, eat out at chain restaurants, and wear name brand clothes. That doesn't make me better or worse than anyone else IMO. I understand people are alot lazier today and not everyone has the attention span to listen to an 8 minute song. I don't have an elitist view, I just have a passion for music. Another thing that bothers me is when people think just because a song is popular it automatically means it must be good, and how some people have the nerve to have Eminem or 2pac in a top 5 rapper list, when they blatantly aren't giving anything else a spin. My brother is like you Fluffy I was making a playlist for him on itunes and he declined Floyd/Zeppelin but put The Fray on his ipod, and that's fine with me, his loss. I've been less caring about what people listen to now because it's a pointless cause, at the end of the day people are going to listen to what they want. I'll give you laziness, to an extent. It's all in ease of access, and people tend to turn to the many pop music radio stations. As for short attention span, it may be true, but again, it goes back to ease of access to shorter songs on mainstream stations. After you claim that your views aren't elitist, you say people have "nerve" for going with the mainstream artists, and then present an anecdote on how your brother rejected your music and it was his loss. Your music was mainstream at one point in time and still has a strong following to this day. Although your tastes aren't current mainstream, they're still far closer to mainstream than things other people listen to, and the longevity of the artists you listen to (the ones you just mentioned in the quoted post) proves them to be mainstream. If your previous posts in this thread were all ignored and only your most recent reply was considered, you'd have a chance at showing some credibility until the final paragraph, where you destroyed all credibility for yourself by essentially saying your opinion is right and others aren't entitled to their own opinions. Your attitude problem is the only "pointless cause" I see here.
  11. Lalalalalalala
  12. @wits that picture (why do I press links) I'm fat!
  13. After graduation I get to have awkward dinner out with my divorced parents, my siblings, my maternal grandpa, my mom's brother, my mom's "wife" best friend, and her daughter. Not tense awkward, but everyoneisapsychospaz awkward.
  14. Exactly, it's an issue. I should have made a maze or something. Oh wait, I didn't create the dreams. I now understand Inception references, thank you AP psychology post-exam :)
  15. Doesn't it suck when you mix reality with dreams? It gets messy when half my dreams have memories as the foundation.
  16. Late start. Yep.
  17. That's yummy. I remember when we were watching the zapruder film in American studies and we were warned of its graphic nature.
  18. I suppose. I did stupid things and had my posting life threatened too
  19. Witty! You haven't been around enough to spread your insanity!
