Got 55 Mage last night and hi-alched my dreadfowl and granite crab pouches this morning. I love that spell now; shame I'm almost out of Natures...
-
50 Farming. Thank you balloon monk from Enlightened Journey.
-
I must say, your stats are pretty pro, even for a low level non-diy'er you'd have pretty good stats.
Keep it up!
Thanks! :)
Harassed one of my friends enough so they'd help me with Heroes' Quest; glad to finally have that out of the way.

No more crappy spear.
-
Good luck!
I've got a DIY account and its not easy so big kudo's to you. ^_^
Thanks, and yea it's still pretty hard. Magic's pretty much my only major obstacle atm. I have a clue scroll that requires the Mage Guild, and I'm nowhere near the required level.
Very nice! Now, Do While Guthix zsleeps DIY Style and you get a geepee.
I'm getting there, lol. Currently have 124 qp. Quests aren't that bad, aside from the few quests I normally could do by now, but require something annoying to get, like Fremmy Trials.
Also decided to turn in a few penguins that I've been saving up from wandering around, so no more having to worry getting owned by quest bosses:
-
School's been somewhat busy again, so I haven't had much to update.
However, hello Dlong, goodbye addy scim:
-
Finally did Lost City, just need to get 60 attack for the longsword; probably won't ever wield a rune scimitar on this account. Also got a somewhat interesting reward from a clue; adamant platebody + skirt both h1 from the same clue. Still waiting for something useful though.

I tried Sorc Garden for a while actually, and I didn't really care for it. I don't really need herb xp atm, and I have plenty of herbs/potions from Slayer/Thieving, so I'm probably good there for awhile. No plans on really training Runecrafting unless there's a quest I want to do that requires it, so it'll probably stay low.
Not much has happened since I last posted since I've been somewhat busy with school, but I did just complete Waterfall.

Started working on RFD and got 50 slayer. Getting somewhat close to something that drops nice things. Also completed Lumby medium, Karamja easy, and Ardy easy.
-
I probably won't wear it unless it looks much better in-game, which I hope it does.
-
Tezz is also training FMing and that will block the cook/fm combo. He doesn't have any slayer left to do so he could not get any effigies maxing out range/mage, if he plans to chin range and do rock lobs for mage and the rest of summoning. But depending on how he plans to get the rest of the charms for sum he might get more effigies.
He currently plans on doing rock lobs for summoning.

Took a break from studying to slay a dragon with crap gear.

Finished a few more quests and completed some tasks (got Explorer Ring 2 and Varrock Armour 1). More exams coming up this week, so that'll probably be it for now.

Been questing somewhat when I'm able to get on; so far, they're not as bad as I've expected, but there's still a few I don't plan on looking forward to doing.

Been skilling somewhat, and since I'm too lazy to take a lot of pictures and whatnot, here's my new stats:
-
Wonder what the impact will be on santas and rares.
Seeing as they weren't in circulation anyways, probably nothing.
-
Thanks you two :) And yea, I wanted to start Slayer as soon as possible, so I just went and got members the first day.
Speaking of Slayer...
-
Decided to take a break from being owned in every Slayer task to get 35 Fletching. Steel hatchets aren't that bad for oaks.

About two weeks after creating a DIY account, I've decided to start logging my progress here (and prove how much of a noob I am). I plan on casually playing this account; I used up all of my 'hardcore' playing on my main.
Here's basically what I'm going by for this account (for those who are interested):
-No GE/trading with other players (aside from certain parts of Heroes' Quest and Shield of Arrav)
-No group Dungeoneering
-No looting others' drops (or loot/coin sharing)
-No assists
-No rewards from BA/SC (think these are the only two)
-No Pest Control/Soul Wars (aside for Quiet Before the Storm and Nomad's Requiem)
-No clan/friend chats for penguin points
-No referrals
If I forgot something, I'll edit it in later.
There's really nothing to post about just yet, but with my exams being over as of today, I should have something soon, but to start off my blog, I guess I'll just post my stats. I don't really have any goals besides to see how far I can take this account/play style.
Current stats:
Starting stats:
-
I'm not really. I plan to spend the first few hours doing agil on my DIY account, just to save some time on it, but nothing too special.
-
I think it's just a different/interesting way to play the game. I've always wanted to try it once I read itam's blog on here back when he started it, but only got around to making an account for it yesterday due to real life being a hassle until now.
It's pretty fun so far (and a bit difficult, especially combat/slayer-wise), and it may be what brings me back to playing RS somewhat regularly.
-
It probably won't really affect me at all; if it does, it'll simply convince me to start playing again.
-
tezz seemed to have done quite some combat xp without slayer, prolly max out def before slay
Tezz trained his stats with Pest Control early on before switching to Slayer.
-
I gave up on it when Pest Control came out. I just don't find training those skills fun anymore.

Decided to hunt implings for fun. I kinda lost track of time and got 65 Hunter. I see Magpies all the time, so maybe I'll get something useful.
