Thank you again Darkbalade for your reply Sorry this is a long one but i'm hoping you can take the time to read it and consider it seriously. I don't know why world 2 was selected for the "official" shades of mort'ton world but it is a frustration. (a quester said thank you to me yesterday because he couldn't get into world 2 and he was finally able to complete shades of mort'ton after 6 months of trying) I think world 2 has remained the 'templin 'world due, in large part, to fansites directing players to world 2 or 6. Fansites, with their large audiences, have a huge amount of power to influence what happens in Runescape. As for the "templing' world changing all the time I don't think it does. I think that people at different times get annoyed enough to try and change it. Get it out of world 2 and make it more accessible.. Most of these attempts, as i have been told many times now, don't last long . Mainly because the organisers run out of steam. Their attempt to make a new 'templing' world either crashes or fades away. We have managed to get a decent number of people into world 131 by spending a lot of time in world 2 asking people to try w131. So far this has been reasonably successful as players will go to where the temple. As long as they know where it is. And right there is the problem. A few players can't reach every player in Runescape not even with a heavily bumped Runescape forum thread. At the moment there is a window of opportunity to get 'templing' out of world 2 for the benefit all current and future mini gamers and questers. However it needs the backing of fansites, such as tip it, and their huge audience, to help sustain and maintain the new 'temple' world long after the organisers have passed out from exhaustion and supporters have moved on to new Runescape adventures. For the benefit of the many who can't get into world 2 easily both now and in the future, i beg you, please get behind this current attempt to shift the 'templing' world out of world 2 and support w131 in your guides (and maybe with an announcement or news article too :P) please Tip It i know you probably have bigger issues to deal with but your support would make a lot of players rather chuffed \ Thanks again for your time :D

well guys, it has been a week and world 131 still has a shades of mort'ton temple built pretty much 24/7. :thumbsup: the news is spreading that w131 is a "temple world" so come along and join the fun \ no more do you need to be frustrated :wall: by trying to get into world 2 a huge thank you to everyone that helped getting it up and running w131 = Shades of Mort'ton Temple World wOOt!

Thanks heaps for taking the reference to w2 out of the splitbark mini game guide :D It is very much appreciated :D Our aim is to have the guide direct people to one world that is never full (preferably w131 coz that is where the temple has been for the past week now, and no that is not my home world :P ) with that in mind, we would like to change the current wording. At the moment guide reads: "playing on a crowded world is highly recommended" To us that sounds like playing on a world with lots of people logged in (eg w2 or 6) is recommended when really that is what we would like to get away from. Could the wording be changed to something like: "a large group is required, so check runescape event forums for the current Shades of Mort'ton world" Obviously we would prefer: "playing in w131 is highly recommended" :P Thanks again for considering our suggestions. :D

For the record Idid say earlier that the Sacred Temple Knights were backing w131 turns out i was misinformed :( they haven't made a decision about w 131. i have removed those remarks sorry guys for using your clan name. :oops:

well w 131 is still going strong! i am wondering now how best to make w131 the "official" shades of mort'ton world. if any admin folks are reading this please check out world 131 mort'ton temple for yourselves and maybe consider making some changes to the splitbark mini game guide and the shades of mort'ton quest guide (and any other references that im not aware of) directing people to w 131 will keep it going and leave, the almost always full, w2 to the traders.

in the guide it says it's best to use world 2 or 6 recently w 131 has been running as a 24/7 temple building world. the word is spreading and it would be great if your minigame guide (and shades of mort'ton quest guide) said w 131 was the best place to go. this was started coz w 2 is too hard to get into due to the number of traders there. if your site backed this move it would help make it a lasting change. i hope this will be considered, thank you w131 for temple building w00t!

fred can u give me a few tips in sending a correction report im new to this forum stuff :S and drgnslyr im not sure about the vials but w131 is ez to hop into maybe check it out =p

yea a few ppl have said it has been tried before we sure hope this one sticks we are trying to get the word out as much as possible so it can sustain itself would be great if you could tell ya mates about w 131 and maybe visit for a lil build yaself :P

i just checked out w 64 no one is there atm ill check back later if we can get as many ppl as possible using the same world we have a greater chance of making this a lasting change. please support w 131

ok thanks for the info .. i had not heard that ill check it out and if anyone is there maybe we can get them to use w 131 too :P
