In hardcore I find the SV98 acceptable. I'm not a fan of it's sight. In terms of actual usage, I use the M95 the most, as I used to play normal (not hardcore) deathmatch, so needed the power. The GOL is the best sniper (counting both normal and hardcore) as the fire rate is very helpful. I have to agree with you on the M95 taking too long to reload. I've been killed quite a few times when cycling the bolt because I missed another sniper by a few inches it's very frustrating. In my opinion, the M24 and the GOL is the way to go in core. M95 if you are a damn good sniper. I suggest using the SV98 only for hardcore, or if you can always get a headshot in core. I'm a horrible sniper, so my favorite guns for the recon is the Type 88, SVU and VSS. Just put a X4 scope and your set.

It's just what level the person you knifed is. The higher the higher level the dogtag.
