Yah I just sold the iron bars lol. I'm working on a 10k steel bars project right now but I plan to sell the bars as soon as I smelt them to go along with the gold ore method proposed by many of you, too bad i didn't know about it earlier i would have probably been over level 90 smithing by now lol.

I'm going to get the rune defender, get closer to 70 prayer as many have mentioned, along with full guthans (for bandits), and IF i have money left over i'll get the dfs. All that will have to wait until i can raise money to actually get all that so it might be a while...Any comments on the equipment i have so far or the shield i should get guys?

Actually I already have the 24k iron bars, I was just asking where would be the best place to smelt ores to make bars cause I intend on making 10k steel bars soon

Well I did the math and iron plates will make me the most money but it is also the slowest XP. Oh well...earning money isn't always easy. Wish me luck! Also, I never actually got around to smelting bars in the members world (became a member 2 months ago), where is the closest furnace to a bank?

Any suggestions? Where i should smith them? I'm guessing Varrok anvil is my best bet (i'm P2P btw). And what should i make, i want to make money and not take long to go through the bars at the same time. My plan is iron plates for now. My main question is...am i smithing the right item?

Thanks, I think what i'll do is get both the Saradomin sword and the DFS. I'll use the DFS for dragons and the Saradomin sword for other monsters. I can't quite wield a dragon scimmy yet since I'm new to members and haven't really dony many quests (if any), but i'll work on my quests so I can get monkey madness done.

Godswords aren't good for training, just boss hunting. So you would suggest I go kill dragons with a saradomin sword rather than a dfs + whip? Just confirming before i buy the items. thanks for the time so far btw.

Get the Saradomin Sword, not Godsword. Isn't the Godsword much better? I can up my budget more to make sure i get the best and most suitable weapons and armour.

If it's any help i'll be training on dragons...so should i get the DFS + a diff weapon?

Hey guys, I sold everything I had cause i started training construction, smithing and other non-combat skills and i haven't really trained combat a whole lot in the past year. I just sold my whole inventory to start 'fresh' again. Here are my stats: Strength - 85 Defence - 93 Attack - 89 Constitution - 90 Prayer - 55/70 I need advice on what armour to use when training, I'll most likely be training strength to 99. So far I own an abyssal whip and that is all. I need to know which of the following items should i get: Helmet: Amulet: Looking to get a Fury Plate: Legs: Shield: Looking to get DFS, what do you think? Ring: Looking to get Berserker ring, what do you think? Boots: Looking to get Bandos boots Weapon: Whip Cape: Wil attempt to get a fire cape All this adds up to about 50m, then I have to get what ever is missing in the blanks. My current budget is 78m. Edit: I'll be training on mainly dragons

I have 6200 planks already I forgot to mention that, and do my understanding I can obtain that hammer through stealing creations but I've never done stealing creations before, does it have any requirements? And thanks for the estimations! What's a BoB? And my summoning level is only 4 lol. For the teleports what I did was just buy 500 house tele's and 500 Fally tele's, then i just walk the short distance. Do i just light the burner with a tinderbox? And is the gilded altar the best? If there's a better one i'll get to that first before i train my prayer.

Hey guys, i'm trying to achieve a couple of goals here and I was wondering how I would go about it. I haven't played runescape in a while btw just got back into it about a couple of months ago and became member for the first time too. i got 66 construction and i'm going for 75 now. My prayer is only 60 and i want to improve it to level 75. Now i understand i can make altars in my house and I was told i can light the lamps or something in order to get more prayer experience somehow, can someone enlighten me more on this i'm a tad bit confused. And i was wondering what the approximate cost would be of all this? I'd be buying the dragon bones by the way, I'm a bit lazy to kill and bank. And my budget is somewhere between 80M-90M

abyssal whip is fine, it's what you should be using. Verac's Skirt Dragon Boots Rune Defender Slayer Helmet/Black Mask Barrows gloves or next best option ring -> you can afford a berserker, but warrior's ring is good, particularly good for low attack levels. amulet -> Glory or fury, once again up to you on how much you spend I would recommend prosy platebody and that you piety your slayer tasks. Any player can make ~ 500k in daily activities between MTK, and various shops 500k should be enough for 3 hours of piety a day, depending on prayer bonus. at the very least use the +10% or +15% strength prayer. but yeah rune... shouldn't be used in p2p :) I have dragon boots and worn out gauntlets. I can work on getting the rune defender. But yeah honestly I'm just getting back into runescape after a long period of time, i know what verac's is i had it once but what the hell is a black mask :lol: :lol:

Yeah I was thinking of getting torag's as well, but then I didn't get it cause i was thinking once i get more money i'll want to upgrade to the next best armour and so on and so on, which is why I was hoping to get the best i can now. I'm planning on holding on to the whip though, but is it good for training defence? And I meant to fix my sig weeks ago but I got lazy, i'll do it now i guess haha. And thanks a lot for the quick response. So knowing I'm going to upgrade eventually, should i still get torags? what about dharoks?

I'm level 85str, 82atk and 70def and i want to train my def to lvl 80 by training slayer. Problem is I only have full rune. Now i want armour that i won't only be using for slayer tasks but also for other just-for-fun training. Basically I want the best armour I could with my small budget of about 36M. I could increase that budget to about near 50M if i really tried, and even more if i was desperate. Any suggestions guys? Oh and btw my current weapon is the abyssal whip.

i've been in the game since runescape classic but have been on and off, but believe it or not, in all that time i still don't have a 99 let alone a lvl 90. So before i decide to get bored of this game again, i want to get as close as i can to a few 99s as i can. I also want a higher skill total as it is pretty low currently. [hide=Stats and Bank] Here's my most recent bank picture: [/hide] [hide=Smithing - 81/85] Past levels: [/hide] [hide=Mining - 73/80] My goal is to mine as much coal as i can, currently my goal is to mine as much gold as i can to make money. Progress: Level 75/85[/hide] [hide=Magic - 74/80] Essentially, I plan to high alch and superheat my way up to lvl 80. I'll have approximately 1000 mith plates after i'm done a part of my smithing goal. After that I will be superheating some ores i mine so i can continue to smith. Progress: Level 76/80 [/hide] [hide=Construction - 60/70] The smartest way to go about it is by making oak larders which is what i plan to do until i reach level 70. For that I will need to make 951 oak larders. Hey! I've been away from runescape since about 8 months and i started playing it again today and noticed nature spirit was not completed. As I started continuing to do it, i remembered why i never finished it. When I talk to Filiman he asks for three things, 'Something with faith', 'Something of nature', and 'something of a spirit-to-become freely given'. I've goten the 'something of nature' so i'm just missing the other two. If i go to Drezel he will not bless me, instead he simply asks me if I have everything i need or something like that. I examined the druid spell thing and it did not give me the spirit-to-become component. Any advice? I've tried doing everything i can think of and i've consulted the quest walkthroughs on the stie.

Personally i like Imp_Killa the best...dunno why, it just looks and sounds great
