I agree with the path-finding algorithm bit. The problem with it is, (well, for me anyway) that the time between clicking on the screen or mini-map, and the server responding is astonishingly long, so, if you happen to be running, by the time its figured out you've clicked again, you're a long way past where it rerouted from, so it runs back. Trees really don't help either. Anyway, I'm probably completely wrong, and you'll probably be talking about something different but still, a well written article, keep up the good work :)

I managed it with about the same stats as yours (can't remember exactly :) ), and I didn't spend quite as much on prayer potions and sharks as people say. It's one of those quests like Legends where everyone says it's impossible, but it's not really that hard. Bringing a friend to stand in front of Damis would help a lot, but yeah, with the right equipment you should be able to do it. Edit: Using fire bolt on Kamil isn't as weird as it sounds, try it.

I'm assuming you haven't already done Fremmenik Trials, but that gives some healthy thieving xp and doesn't require a thieving level to start off with, so if you think you can, do that

Hmm...I must be doing something wrong then cos she was hitting double 17's fairly often. I'll try what you were using, I'll probably have it lying around in my bank somewhere. Any tips or strategies on killing this thing would be appreciated. I've already tried twice and used 50 or so sharks. Stats: 91 combat 75 attack 73 strength 73 defence 75 hp 66 range 71 mage I have Ahrims, red dragonhide and some white mystic (which I might use, if i have to). Problem is, I don't know if it's using range or mage on me :?
