Any idea how strong a crossbow has to be to kill a zombie? I finished one I was working on a few days ago and I was quite impressed by it (it shot a blunt stick stuck in a tree, and it is very accurate even though the "trench" along the stock isn't dug). Also my overfilled garage would be a perfect base, chalk stone walls, entrance to backyard (with berries, rubburb and herbs) through a tight door, a small cellar thingy and a tall alcove to sleep on.

Sort of odd but thanks, and well done. Though it wasn't any haste as there's stil 90 minutes until the 29th.
