I'm not sure how much defense they require, I know that the Archer Armor needs lvl 40 ranged and I'm assuming the magic has a magic req. If it helps, I have level 47 defense and can wear the Archer Armor.

the spiney (archer) one needs you to have lvl 40 ranged and have done the fremmy trials, i'd assume this is similar for all of them. Also, what is the going price for these if you buy them? I've seen the spiney going for anywhere between 275k and 850k.... :?
