  1. If you don't mind losing bronze arrows, you can always tank range at Flesh Crawlers in the SoS.

That's what I'm doing at the moment.

I get maybe 20k experience per 1k bronze arrows used. But that's at 74 range.

They're aggressive for around 10 minutes, so that's awesome.

    AddictingGames <3

Anyways, I wear full d'hide and rune full helm, but that's at 80 def.

If you don't like the Flesh Crawlers, try the Moss Giants on Crandor.

  2. I've never been to the Ghostly Warriors - I've been to Ape Atoll, but that was a while back.

From what I remember seeing in guides and whatnot, Ghostly Warriors give decent drops, while the Gorillas do not.

Personally, I would go with the Ghostly Warriors.

Sacrifice maybe 5k experience per hour for 100k or so. [Don't quote me on the 100k :S]

  3. Pk'ers realized that if their opponent eats all the time, there's no chance of them getting a kill.

So they all got together, and decided to come up with some demeaning term to pressure their prey into not eating.

Opponents not eating often = more KO's = more kills

I think the actual definition is eating when your hitpoints are over your opponents max hit - not sure though :S

But more than half of the people who use the term 'safe' or 'safer' are 'safers' themselves.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

Eat when you don't feel comfortable at your hitpoints level.

  4. I don't know what level to start out with, but here's what i do when I use ZMI.

Wear Black d'hide + Ring of Dueling + Earth Staff

Tele to Ouriana, go down, Protect from Missiles + 15% def.

    Run down short path.

    Craft using pouches - DUH.

Tele out to Castle Wars. Bank. Repeat.

It can be done with a Glory too. I just have one glory, so I bought Dueling Rings.

Also, you can use an Abyssal Familiar, and use the Oo'glog Pools.

    It's pretty easy to do.

Just do a couple of runs, and improve as you see fit.

  5. I know that there was a thread around here somewhere with a checklist of sorts, but I can't find it =[

    Anybody have any help?

    EDIT:Another question.

If I have, say, Bandos Boots in the GE, waiting to sell, and I go freeplay, would I still be able to access that money once they actually do sell?

  6. Why should I admit that I play Runescape and potentially suffer some amount of grief when it really doesn't trouble me that much to cover my Runescape-playing up?

Yes, some of my friends play WoW, and people tease them to some extent - mostly our other friends - but it's in a joking manner.

Still, I don't particularly want to be the subject of those little pokes.

Where I live, people don't play Runescape.

Maybe it's different where you guys live.

But Runescape is treated like the Bubonic Plague here. At least in public it is ;)

  7. It's the Dense Forest that requires 56 Agility.

I just did it today =]

It's really not that big of a hassle.

I had 53 agility and used summer pies - brought 2 per trip, and it worked out fine.

  8. But remember, rare drops aren't necessarily the better drops.

It may be rarer for an Iron Dragon to drop a Bronze Square Shield than it is for them to drop a pair of Dragon Platelegs, for instance.

The Knowledge Base says nothing about the value of the drops, or how the drops are determined as 'rare'

-I'm not saying that Iron Dragons do drop Bronze Square Shields, it was simply a made-up analogy.

-Also, forgive me if I'm wrong about the Knowledge Base comment. I was only guessing, since I have never seen anybody quote something like that.

  9. It's not really a profit :S

I buy Gilded Skirts in the Grand Exchange (600kish) and then sell them for 1.2-1.3m ea, along with enough willows to balance out the trade.

I'm simply converting my willows into gold pieces.

I still have the same value of items as I did beforehand, but now I have 40k less willows and more cold, hard cash.

But yeah, animal masks are a reward for level 2 treasure trail clues.

I'm currently hunting for them at Ice Warriors, no luck yet though.

For my own use, of course.

I don't have 15m in junk lying around in my bank.

  10. Freeplay has 68 spaces I believe.

And yes, it's definitely worth it.

I just became a member again, after emptying out all of my member quest items.

And believe me, it's a real pain in the you-know-where to get all of them back again.

If you accidentally withdraw all of one-item; tough luck. No way of depositing that back into your bank again if you're over the limit, unless you get membership again.

  11. I'm only 97 cooking at the moment, but going for 99.

I cooked swordfish all the way from 82 or so to 97.

I burned maybe 250 or so getting from 82 to 87 - if 87 is the level where you stop burning them.

I would make the 5 million to begin with, since I did quite a bit of Exchange merchanting while I was cooking.

As of now, I have 3 million more than I did when I started cooking.

But if you're not into merchanting, I would make a little here, and a little there, or take a break midway and make the money then.

That way, you won't get burned out.
